Hey guys,
I am sorry for the delay in posting up part-2, but then I am sure that you all would love to read another trip log with as much spirit as you did all the others.
So here it goes:
It was around noon, & thanks to the almighty, we were able to fix Anant's bike. Apart from the puncture, the bigger trouble had been the axle & the axle lock-nut which were damaged & we would have been left with little options if we wouldn't have been able to find the new axle & nut.
Thanks to some nice soul, who had decided to take his bike's delivery on Sunday, the Bajaj service center at Kacchighati was open, & Amit & I had been just in time to find it open. But then another confusion cropped up, the guy had all these parts lying open, & he couldn't figure out which one was for a Pulsar 180 ug3, so we had to call up LP & he came down to this center along with the old axle & nut & FINALLY, we were back to the parking lot to fix Anant's bike. Bike fixed, PERIOD.
Now the journey resumed towards Delhi, although we were late, but then I was glad to still see that the spirits were not at all dampened due to this incident. All the riders were still enthusiastic & it turned out to be real good.
Moving downhill, the roads were awesome & the curves were simply superb. I have been at this place for 4 years, & it was great visiting this place again & reliving my memories. Heading down, as we had done uphill, we riding one after another making sure that there was adequate distance between two riders & also at times slowing down so that others behind us can catch up & stay together. Everyone rode sincerely & in a good way, & this was something very essential for the trip to be a success.
We stopped about 8 kms before Dharampur, for the riders to regroup, & then a little water break, fag break, & again were off towards Dharampur, where we were to take a break at Gyaani da dhaba for lunch. Reached there, the place was full & since it would have taken quite long, we decided to move further down to McDonalds. Lined up the bikes at the McDs parking, & all of us being extremely hungry, jumped on burgers, iced teas & shakes, & after having a filling meal, headed back to the bikes. Had a brief photo session, with different poses & then off we were. The weather was awesome & so was the time, evenings in the mountains (aaah, you have to be there to feel it) ;-)
Kilometers clocking, finally crossed Kalka, & then took a stop at Zirakpur, outside Amit's residence. The guys had some water & a butt break, & ten were off to Delhi while I moved back to my place.

@Aryan.. After seeing your photo of our previous trip to chail, I only think about all the fun that we guys on the recent trip missed due to our decision to head to shimla.. That trip to chail is something I will cherish for a long time.. I still remember driving around with a punctured tyre ;-)
