Bas karo yaar.... I dont have issues with anybody. I know nobody will be happy if I crash or for that reason if anybody crashes... coz I can never feel happy for any of my friends crashing or anything bad happening to them. Period !!

Ride Log:

Ride Plan and meet:
The plan for the ride started when we guys met up at dhaba for dinner on 21st night. Ajinkya wanted to ride to Karad/Koyna coz he had been there in a car... and always wanted to go there for a bike ride. Anup immediately decided that we are riding to Koyna next weekend. Some people instantly confirmed their presence and some did not. The plan was swinging in air for some time, but when Ajinkya said am riding even if nobody turns up, everybody started to think seriously. Chilled_fire was always confirmed and so was Winzee. My plans were doubtful (I had an interview) and so were Anup's (coz he was unwell). On friday evening Anup confirmed that hes riding and the gang of 5 guys decided to meet up at Panvel McD's at 5am. I had to attend a friends party till late night and hence returned home at 1am. Logged on to the forum and saw all the posts. Seeing that these guys are going for sure, I thought of going but then my interview test next morning. I kept the alarm at 4am and went off to sleep thinking about the ride. At 4am I got up, sitting in the bed I thought if I should go or not, again went back to sleep but I could not , was feeling an intense urge to ride. So scrapped the thoughts of the interview and got up. After getting ready I rode fast to McD's... and wow nobody had turned up. Called up Anup... and he said.. buddy we have decided to meet up at 6am ... I was like hmmmm ok . I was there to surprize them.. and was myself surprized. One by one everybody turned up, we had breakfast at 6:30am at McD's and then set off for the ride.

Day 1:
The ride from Panvel to Pune was a slow ride, since we had decided not to exceed 70kmph (this comes from last week Marcus' accident). Met up Niranjan at chandni chowk who took the 220 guys (me, chilled and ajinkya) to the PBK centre as we needed to get the CO% set. After some delays Anup and guys managed to leave for Karad and reached there at around 2pm. While we three had to slog a lot coz Chilled forgot his ipod at the PBK centre and we had to go back from Shirval to Pune to get it back (around 30km one way). We started riding at around 2-2:30pm. The heat was so bad that my thighs were literally burning from under the jeans. We kept a constant 95-100kmph and covered the distance in pretty less time. Ajinkya had arranged for the stay at his aunt's office in Karad, Anup and gang reached there at 2pm.. waited for us, but unfortunately due to some misunderstangings between the office guys and Anup/Winzee/Razor they had to go ahead and find a hotel room for themselves. We reached at 5pm to Karad. The office stay looked pretty good, but then staying separately and all did not sound good to us. So decided to stay in the same hotel as they were in. At around 6pm we reached the hotel. The hotel was a bliss with a full private terrace and 2 terrace rooms which were ok-ish kind of (rs.500 for 3 ppl). After having some food we thought of going out ... we three 220 guys wanted some rest and hence avoided going out. Anup was happy that we have a big terrace and nice evening climate to enjoy. Went down to get some daaru, chakna and chicked(which was pathetic). After doing loads of tp talk and eating we went to sleep at around 11:30pm.

Day 2:
As decided we were to get up at 5am and leave at 6am... see the confluence and ride back home. Things went on time, everybody got ready at around 7am. Had some chai and started to ride to the confluence which is around 5min from the main city. There was lot of stone-sand on the banks of the confluence banks... it was pretty hard for us to get the bikes back on the roads. The scenary around the river bank was good, so we snapped a lot of pics... with Anup just watching how we (me, ajinkya and Chilled) 'posed' in front of the cameras'. We also got to see a crab... and Ajinkya lifted the crab with his hands (gloves on) and kept it on his bike ... and took pics of it while it posed . Left the confluence at around 7:30am. Reached NH4 highway to get some cash from the ATM and to fuel up the bikes. There we decided to go to Koyna dam area.... it would take us a lot of time as its around 50km from Karad... still we went ahead. 50km took us around 75minutes, the road side river flowing was a bliss to watch. The garden there coupled with the view of the dam and later having missile-pav was great. There was a MIDC hotel way above the hill.... from where one could get a very good view of the scenary of the river and dam, but we had to miss it . Some photo-shoot while returning back to NH4... we were all a bit exhausted as the sun was on our head at 12pm... it was getting really hot. We started to cruise at around 90kmph on NH4.... stopped for ganna-juice (sugarcane) and water at a place 6-7km from Karad.

From there on it was a straight ride of more tham 300km on the NH4 highway. Next stop came up around Satara for refuelling... where Razor's bikes' handle was loose and foot-peg stay ... got it rectified at the pump mechanic. We came around a Xcd125 wala... with no helmet... and listening to music.. wearing chappals.... and cruising with us at 90+kmph... it was really funny to see him. Then before Pune... I had a crash (my crash log is put up on page 9 or page 10). Came out unhurt coz I was wearing proper riding gear . Again we started to cruise at good speeds, just then at a shell pump we stopped coz Chilled wanted to refuel. I called up my mom and told her the story of my crash and assured her that am safe and unhurt. Anup had a bit of "dow (2) number" pressure (natures call)...and so he was in a hurry... in that hurry Chilled forgot to chain his backpack which was bungee corded to his rear seat. We crossed a toll station in the next few kilometers, where Anup saw something falling from chilled's bag... we stopped and Chilled checked his bags... found that his ipod was missing.... we went back a few meters... saw a small black (wallet size) thing on the road.... a Tavera went over it .... sadly the ipod was crushed. With sad feelings... and feeling that today is a very bad day for me and Chilled we started to ride. Ajinkya and Winzee went missing... and Anup got into extreme pressure and could not control it anymore ... he had to stop inbetween just after pune at a petrol pump. We got Ajinkya on the way (he was waiting for us)... and met-up with Winzee at Lonavala (RK restaurant), we had some juice and ice-cream. The ride back from Lonavala was very boring. Almost everybody ripped, with me and Razor ripping our bikes to the maximum. I reached home (panvel) at around 5:30pm. Rest of the guys reached at 6-6:30pm.

Update: Today I went to PBK Svc centre.... repair cost quoted was around 3.5-4k... will get my bike done in a week or so. Getting my rear tyre replaced tomorrow... going for MRF Zapper Vyde @ Rs.1.5k
