    But we should check the point of reference where you did 83-88. Coz my speeds in this section varies from 75-95 from entry to exit!
    Most of the time my exit speed was 89kmph. Max i touched was 92. Can't say about entry speeds because i was looking ahead but if i care to guess then i would say in the range of 85 and keep the throttle steady throughout the curve.

      Well then you are faster than me around the big sweep!

      I enter at about 75-77 and go through it 80-83. And touch 90-93 at the entry small turn before the straight.

      Btw, were you going full throttle on the straights?

        Yep full throttle after C7. Keep the throttle open into the small curve to the left and get upto 110-113 kmph.Then use the marker stones as a reference point to brake into C8.

          I asked about full throttle, coz I was catching up with you on the straight before the braking points for C8!

            @Killer

            At what speeds do you enter C10? You didn't mention in the reference lap. And do you stick to the inside of C10 and then cut across into C11? Because when I enter C10 I do sight seeing! Im completely lost there.

              Yep you were. I didnt realize then but on my ride back with Sksy I noticed my bike isn't pulling well after 6k in the 5th gear i.e after 83 kmph. And i was leaning a bit too much on corners and getting back up was slowing me down.

                  Another thing is that you steadily increasing your speed across the sweeping curve while i was keeping it constant. So maybe you were carrying more momentum at the exit of C7 before going full throttle into the straight.

                  Im just happy i didn't crash

                    I like that section and its one of my fastest. I go past the flowing right hander just before C10, accelerating to 119kph in 5th (on the speedo) before hard braking and knocking it into 4th for C10. I trail the brake upto the apex on this one. You want to 'turn in' just on the inside of the rough patch and then hold a tight line so you dont run wide while exiting. If you exit around mid-track, thats about right. So you wont really be cutting across for C11, thats just wasting time because the distance is increased.

                        Dont worry, its an advanced technique where the rider tapers off the brakes gradually while tipping the bike into the corner. With the front loaded the bikes rake and trail is reduced so it turns in faster. I dont recommend you do this right now. Finish braking early and use the rough patch as a marker to turn in.

                          I've seen that in some Yammy video of Rossi's. I remembered while i was riding on track too but didn't dare try it coz it was done by Rossi after all and it didn't look easy even on video.

                          Thanks a lot for the advice Killer.

                              I think you are referring to the video where rossi gives riding tips around the askari track on a R6 (http://www.ebike-ridingtips.co.uk/). He shows how to trail in the 'rear' brake and 'back the rear' into a corner. Thats an even more advanced technique adopted from super motard racing. I'm not talking about that and its not something you can do on our underpowered indian bikes either. I'm refering to trailing the 'front' brake into the corner, its a more common practice amongst racers and an advanced technique though not quite as advanced as the one you are refering to.
