Maverick, I understand how sad and painful it is with the new baby in hands. Faced the same problem when I got my Zma two years back.

The debate / explanation given by prajwal about the passing clouds was v.informative and more of an enlightment

+1, that guy was so annoying, he'd zip in between us every now & then... I guess it was a TVS Flame, not sure, you might be right

Oh boy !!! That was so scary, i had my heart in my mouth when i saw that really cool helmet fell and started rolling towards middle of the road... Very good presence of mind by Sksy to wave his hands...

          • It was scary when my precious (my helmet) rolled towards a speeding truck! Luckily he stopped

Glad you guys liked the light. I was running only single HID, imagine twin HID that I usually have :P

@ravi: I was never out of action, not posting too much thats all

            • The trucks would go low beam as soon as they see the HID,
Since i was sweeping, by the time they come to me they would switch back to high beam, that was a bit irritating for me...
but anyways the dip in the river was sooooooooo refreshing...

He might have thought there was a head under the rolling helmet.

Sree, I remember you seeing at R15 race championship. I do not remember seeing you in any other rides. then, it might be that I might have missed some rides of you.

Sunil, nice quote there in your siggy.

The UNI GP is a quite a looker .

There were a few anxious & annoying moments. Onward ride, a pesky "Air DVD" bus was wedging between us.
The natives there pounced on us when we reached, to pay & park. Hogenakkal has been turned into a bathing ghat, & is an eyesore at places. The Indian joint families come down their for their annual bathing ritual. Plastic, Plastic everywhere.

Return ride - a poser+pillion on FZ16 was snaking between Pranesh & me. Was he racing / riding with us?

Some noob moments: I attempted some sharp swerves, & overtaking a bus on hilly descent. Trigger was . & duly pointed 'em out.

good write mate... fun to read.

nice pics. but errr... is that all?!

Weather @ Yercaud was very pleasant... We reached there during sun-set and left at around 10 AM next day... It did drizzle a bit during our stay and it was v.gud... Really donno how it'd be during mid-day , it was foggy at Pagoda point / Shevroy temple [during morning hours]... Overall, it was good and best part, lotta greenery... For the first time, i saw coffee flowers

                        • Thanks @shadez ! This is all that I could recall . It was a laidback onward ride on serene country roads, with not too many breaks & bike pics.
@SharadRTR , I saw you waiting for me to pass by on Hosur road, when returning. Thank you!

                          • Nice pics Tom. Is not it really painful taking all those gear into those boats? particularly the saddle bags.

One of the best part about this trip was everyone stuck to their roles
Prajwal / Sksy as lead riders were alert all the while about the possible dangers / bad roads etc... SharadRTR as tail made sure that every1 were on the move. He even waited for me during one of the rain-break and dint move till i made my move... Thanks for that ... Rest others were loyal not to break any of the rules

Carrying the saddle bag was somewhat a pain, but can't ignore the comfort while driving ... So gotta be prepared for tat , we'd dumped everything in the middle, so wasn't a problem as such...

It was ok. The boatman managed to balance the weights. The public were "Oh, they are sailing with their helmets.." . Guys , did the boat leak?. At first I was "Whoa, where are the life jackets "?
