When you are visiting such a religious place is booze so very important ?? i mean you can do it in mumbai as well. just a suggestion

1000 wont be suffiecient as per me.diveagar mein bhi jyada hua tha.petrol itself would be 500-600 ,thn food,booze plus anything else....
1500 per person plus extra cash wud be sufficient.than we can adjust whatever required on location

and the place where we can stay is a km away from the shrine.
but certainly a valid point to think upon.

@Shadowboy: For VAT69 i am ready to do a solo ride with you man. I am looking forward for wonderful coastal food (prawns, fish). Hope it doesnt turn out to be Food Orgy !!
One more thing guys, if possible please don't select some owners place. I had stayed once at some owners place with my friends. there was too much of restrictions & Rules, wont be able to come late make noise (pull people's legs) and second parking will be a problem.
Parking space & security is paramount in small villages like this. We don't want one of out R15 missing in the morning.
I think if we spend couple of more hundreds and 3 of us share a room we can easily get accommodation in hotel @ reasonable price..Comment

Ganpatipule has like only 2 3 star hotels/resorts which serve non veg.Than there' s mtdc and finally for us there's a small hotel which serves nice surmai/pomfret.
some disadvantage of holy place.

1000 bucks per person is not at all enough SB.. lasttime I had gone for a solo ride to Hedvi.. no issue of stay not that much of food either..but the fuel itself cost me close to 600..Originally posted by Shadowboy View Post

I'll try to get some information from him by tonight on accomodation and rest of the things.. I remember he has a huge house over there and it's mostly locked. Only servents take care of the trees and all.. So if I manage to get that house for us then I dont think there'll b any issue of spending money for accomodation..
