[12th April]One-Day Ride- Delhi-Agra-Delhi

    hey friends.... i think 4am would be good time to leave as then we can reach agra by around 8am and then have some time out ther.... and then if all agree then can go to fatehpur sikri as well..... and then return back as I need to be back in delhi by 9pm my parents are coming..... which I came to know yesterday........ but yeah ofcourse it depends on ther majority of friends....

    Kunjal:- Gwalior idea sounds good bhai....

      You cannot do everything! Agra, Fatehpur Sikri, Gwalior... not possible in a day even if you guys all ride Ducatis!

      @ALL: There are 4 Fabulous monuments in Agra which would take 3hrs+ just for visiting and doing a little bit of decent photography.

      Gwalior is another 100kms from Agra. Add to it the visiting time. With the monumental Bamiyan type Jain sculptures hewn into the rock, historical photographer's paradise.

      Fatehpur Sikri is 40kms from Agra, in the other direction. Plus the time for the visits and photography. Fabulous Maqbara in the Dargah. Phew!!

      Then there is Breakfast and Lunch.

      Do a few, but do it GOOD! Do not attempt everything.
      The Wheel was a great invention; Two Wheels with a Motor in between was even better!

              Yaar,anant the reason to start early is to cover the max distance in dark and less traffic,the time we would reach agra it would be nice!
              Moreover,it quite less from your home,then you can leave by 7am,keep in touch we can catch you up in Middle!

                          @Anant: First and foremost, drop this "sir" crap; just call me Aryan. That sounds WAY better and I prefer it that way.

                          Secondly, Gwalior is 350 odd kms. one way, which would easily make it 700 plus kilometres both ways. Now, seven hundred kilometres in ONE day in PLAINS is going to KILL you and all the last bit of enthusiasm that you might have left in your arse!

                          I mean think about it - having excitement and all is one thing, and not thinking logically is another. I would suggest do not veer off the plan. Ride to Agra, relax there, see places, and come back safe and sound by the evening/ night instead of doing a mad-dash whereby you not only get tired and exhausted but probably would also risk an injury in the way of crash, etc. because riding for SO long in plains would DRAIN your energy away. Trust me on this!

                                What? You didn't knew the distance and you were making plans? The first and foremost thing is to check the distance whenever you plan a ride.

                                Who else didn't knew the distance, raise you hands.

                                I am not coming but I agree with some people here. Make it a small doable trip. Visit 1 place..but visit it properly. Don't try to cover 10 places and end up nowhere.
