There IS a hard and fast rule. you ride with max protection you can. shoes and helmets are basics. lot of us here also have jackets and gloves.its about saving one's life. and mate how many km have u ridden that you talking with so much confidence abt shoes not helping and stuff.

my point is completely mislead.
i travel nearly 80kms everyday (mira rd - bandra) WITH a helmet and shoes AND gloves AND a normal-windbreaker. but my entire debate was we DON'T need this g2g to be a "school picnic" and teach the xbhpian members that they HAVE to carry their own waterbottles. get it?
Shoes won't help if you miss out one leg by not fitting a leg-guard! eh? style over safety? and what about those rear view mirrors? "oh! a bus just scbeaten me off!??"
all i am trying to say is no one -yea- "NO ONE" would like if they are told to wear shoes and not floaters while riding their bike cause someone else thinks it's safe. thought the fact is we all know it is safer. its just the matter till what extent one takes it till. overall "biking" itself is not safe? then where does our website stand?

mez not yet fixed on what bike i will be on. run on my dad's dated caliber right now which i DON't intend to get. was supposd to get my zma but gettg next week
most probably will come with my friend no his red 150dtsi or a rx135. or come on my car indica petrol and get the handycam alongwith.
there is a slight fear of me to travel to pune on that day. damn pray that i won't. :S

also, one bad news, i am not sure of sunday is happening for me. have to go to pune with folks for some important jazz and i have to drive them down. let us see, if i can make it or no. might be abandon in between or sum jazz. or rather meet ull directly at ghodbunder.

well , this is not good ?everyone's asked to wear shoes,not sandals/ floaters ? why !! well men if it rains, we guys are comfortable in our sandals ?

And guys security is must so helmets and shoes should be made mandotary altough it depends upon the ones who want to wear what ever they want to wear.....

i think those who want to do stunts must wear shoes & those who wud be silent spectators can have the liberty of wearing whatever footwear they feel like wearing.. but no stunts w/o shoes.. btw by stunts i mean drags, burnouts, wheelies etc which iam sure u guys are planning to have
