Thanks Amit... thats some good info on the route distance.. A 90km ride will be fun!
Even though you have been a bit too generous on the time for each event on the way (1 hour to chat at the dhaba, 1.30 hrs to eat [:P] ), I dont think many of the guys would like to be out till its that late. Even though I stay alone and have no problems riding into the wee hours of the morning, I'd prefer if we could map out a schedule where the return home would be by 7-8pm max coz most of the riders with us might face family pressures if they return too late.
I'd like the rest of the guys to respond with comments on what they think of this idea and we can take it from there. Please keep in mind that the meeting/riding time is flexible and will be decided upon ONLY upon the majority agreeing.
For the record, my vote is for a much earlier meeting time - say 10am and proceed with the plan from then on. This would give everyone their time to bask in the (hopeful) sunlight and most importantly : Take Better Pictures!!

The earlier the better , coz traffic wud b less too plus we have the whole day to enjoy and no time problem too...btw i've been on the road which amit is talking about .. road is pretty good and very less traffic , mostly all trucks around there ..Vikaz...Comment

10 am is perfect. 11 max. v have the entire day to go riding where ever. theres gonna b no pressure frm family, it gonna b broad daylight can spend time chattin n doin wht ever it is u guys wanna do later. wht say??? but i think tat 3 is gonna b late, i say if v meet it gotta b in the morning.brettComment

10 is way too early. if thats the case. noon is perfect time. 12:30ish. lunch can be done together. at candies! and wuld have enough daytime too. what say?

The waterfall place i was talking abt is on the ghodbunder rd ie the rd that goes towards thane after one crosses Mira rd. I think this is what we should do :
>Meet at around 12.30--1.00
>Talk, Introduce, have lunch
>Go to the Mumbai--Ahemdabad Highway for a ride--if it dosent rain
>If its raining we can go to the waterfall--in this case we shall have to carry shorts, and do the stunts bit elsewhere, cause there is not a decent place around here where u could even do a burnout, forget wheelies and since this place is also on the highway lots of dhabas can be found for some grub.
Trust me guys this place is amazing during the rains with lots of greenery around. I have been going to this place every monsoon since the last 3 yrs for the waterfall all it takes is lots of rains for atleast 3 days b4 the day we go there.

can you tell me where exactly is this waterfall place on ghodbunder? on the ghodbunder highway or somewhere off it? can you tell me the name of that place??
and the ahmedabad highway infact diverts into ghodbunder road and western express highway!

Hey,
Amit-- If you keep going straight after Kashimira, then at the next junction if u take a right turn u can go to Thane, the water fall is on this rd abt 5-7 kms away from the junction, if u go straight from the junction that is the Mumbai--Ahemdabad highway.
Now i dont know the name of the place, simply bcause it dosent have any.
If we are meeting b4 the big day i can take u there.
