    Delhi-Chandigarh G2G @ Karnal(JHILMIL DHABA)- 28th June, 2009

    Most of the people confirming for the short ride, I'm putting up a new thread for Karnal G2G.

    Date :- 28th June, 2009 (Sunday).

    Meeting Time :-5:00 AM at monastry

    LEAVING TIME :-
    5:15 A.M.     @ Monastry(ISBT)
    5:30 A.M. @ karnal bypass(cross the flyover, bus stand)

    Destination :- Karnal(Jhilmil Dhaba)

    TOTAL K.M. :- 250Kms both side


    INSTRUCTIONS :-

    1) WEAR HELMET DURING THE WHOLE RIDE.(PILLION ALSO)
    2) RC (Registration Certificate)
    3)Valid DL (Driving Licence)
    4) Valid PUC Certificate (Pollution Under Control Certificate)
    5) Valid Insurance papers.
    6) NO DRAGS , NO OVERTAKING.
    7) RIDE IN PROPER GROUP FORMATION.
    8)KEEP UR HEADLIGHTS ON DURING THE RIDE.
    9)SENIOR MEMBERS WILL LEAD THE GROUP SO ALL THE OTHER RIDERS WILL FOLLOW THEM.

    Important
    Lets ride in a good formation of 2x2(wherever possible) at a speed of 75-80

    We will have to start off at 05:30 am. And this is a kind request, please do not be late. We cannot afford to waste time in this one. We will be taking the following route out of Delhi

    Lajpat Nagar - Sarai Kale Khan ISBT - Indrapastha Marg (DDA Office) - Main ISBT - Tibetian Mkt
    The Road from there takes straight to the Delhi Border.

        most probably the royality among us biker says something like ---"aaj nashta karne haryana chalenge" something like that so dont think so whats the case lets see

          What is the average speed that you guys are planning maintain during the ride???

            Waiting for the day!! and praying hard that nothing comes up on that day so that I can be there with you all.

            It will be my first ride of some decent kms with you guys.

              Well, I have my office on Sunday...and I need to report maximum by 1030hrs. will it be wise enough to start at 530hrs, reach karnal, grab a bite and rush for Faridabad ???? I doubt that. the to and fro journey would be around 400kms and the time I have with me is close to 5 hrs, averages out to 80kms per hrs...I think I should better try for Iron Butt than to go to Karnal..Sorry mates, am out...but yes, if you guys plan to push of any early from Delhi, I might very well join in.
              Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!

              Save the Tigers! Only 1411 (excluding ME) are left!

                    Even if we start by 5, do you thing half an hour would satisfy us....can't you work more this sunday and reach late on 28th to office??
                    can it be possible? some kind of 2 hours leave??

                    approx we will maintain a speed of 70kmph...I know your bike still in the run in period...But you can come as a pillion and ride shivanshu's bike for sometime.....ok shivanshu??
