I do have one picture of you, but that is not sharp enough to be posted. Next G2G, let's make your face the 'face of the G2G'.

          @Biker Boy: Thank you.
          :)

          • It was great meeting almost everyone from Delhi xBhp and more...Abhishek from Agra for example. Just wonderful to see the huge turn-out and the camaraderie inspite of the numbers. I don't think I managed to meet everyone personally and also doubt if anyone else managed that feat.

The cake was great and it was an honour to cut it with my colleagues and the two 'senior most' members of xBhp...Yug and Aseem's nephew. A memorable evening.

Aryan: You are a practiced hand at 'candid' shots. Good ones, all of them. And you even managed to put them up in order of 'appearance' and 'disappearance' of the subjects.

Ek sawal: Mujhe 'angry and hungry young man' kyon bana diya bhai?

Dear Sikhbiker, you should have made it clear to Aryan that you will not tolerate such rude behaviour. After all, you came all the way but weren't shot at all.
Oh Come on Mate...... getting clicked or not getting clicked makes little or no difference at all. after all, you were a part of the mega event and I hope you would have enjoyed it thoroughly too. Bandhav and Shivanshu happen to be the Photographer's favourite subject and hense we get to see them too often in the pics. I also could not see Desi, Prakhar too much in the pics.... but I am sure they are OK with it.

on a funnier note, you either have to be too photogenic or too weird to be a photographer's favourite subject. Cant figure out if Bandhav and Shivanshu fit into the former or the later one....
Its not about the BHP or the CC, its about one common religion called Biking!!!

Save the Tigers! Only 1411 (excluding ME) are left!

              • It was my G2G after a long gap of around 4 months and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It was good to meet the old members and the new ones. Will take a few more G2Gs to get acquainted to the new faces though. The turn out was really great and the atmosphere was really enthusiastic, as always. I am looking forward to be regular from now onwards.

Nice pictures Aryan. Though I am not photogenic but thanks for the pics . Where is the pic that I clicked ?

Thank you OF sir. I love shooting candids, especially at such occasions.

@Leon: The picture that you have clicked is right there. It's titled - "Shooting the Shooter"

@DCS: It's upto Bandhav and Shivanshu to answer your 'query'.

                        • Darn Desi, I was just telling my other mate that Desi aint complaining and you just did. How embarrassing!!!
Ok Sikhbiker, you have the right to complain to Aryan.

@ Leon: I should have said it earlier but its better late then never, you were the star attraction of the G2G. I mean after being associated with xBhp for 4-5 years, you were hardly seen at any of the gatherings. I understand that you might have been keeping busy but we also deserve to have the pleasure of seeking your divine company at the gatherings more often if not always. try making it more regulars. I met you for the 1st time (and last time till date) on the Manesar Mc D ride and the funnier or the ironical part is, you live not more than 358 meters away from my place.

                              Thanks for your kind words.

Yes, I have had quite a number of things going on especially the construction of our house. The sunday is the day when everyone is free and has to go to monitor the construction. Also, there were some issues with my bike. Haven't rode it for the last 2 months. Moreover I was not very much online on xBhp. You would have hardly seen me online for the past 2-3 months. Anyways, time to look at the future. And I bet you will be seeing me more often now.

Regarding the irony, my next door neighbours get to see me after a month .

                              • Hi Delhi Dudes!

Massive congrats on the 6th anniversary G2G and the huge numbers it attracted. It was great seeing some of the faces again that I met when I was there. Miss ya's.

It really is fantastic to see such committment to the biking lifestyle from you guys. More power (literally ) to you.

I've been working (more thinking than writing) away on the thesis about the biking scene in India and I'm not getting very far with it at all. There's too much info swimming around in my head. Anyway.....

I have a question (or five) if you don't mind..... It's about Karol Bagh and what the multitude of bike shops, accessory outlets and workshops mean to you guys..... I.E., Would some of you write a bit about it for me please?

                                1. How long it's (the bike quarter) been there in the form it is now with ALL the shops. I.E., a bit of its history if ya know.

                                2. How are the retailers/dealers/workshops reacting to the lifestyle biker rather than the commuter/bread and butter riders in terms of product or service provision?

                                3. Does it's presence help promote lifestyle biking?

                                4. What are the general attitudes of Xbhpians to such a biking retail centre and the services offered?

                                5. Any other info about the Karol Bagh bike quarter you would like to mention?

I would be incredibly grateful if those who wish to write could email answers, comments etc to me at [email protected] Any answers will be gratefully received and will be included in my work. The identities of contributors will be kept anonymous as with the interviews I carried out when I was there.

Many, MANY thanks for all your help, thanks dudes and apologies for including this in the G2G thread but was unsure where to post this that would get direct to the 'Delhi Crew'.

Respect to you all and keep the knees in the breeze.
