Had to miss this ride. 4 weeks of laziness had gathered up a tonne of muck. I just HAD to clean up my bike. Now its new again. I am now a happy lazy fella sitting on my bum and watching the pics. Upload some more pls. I need some entertainment. And I need it NOW!

It was dark around. We r 10. I decided to tail with praful leading. Second rider was Devilish form the behind. I felt devilish was extremly uncomfortable with oposite traffic light. Am i right dada ?. He was riding extremly left, out of the last white line and i was getting scared as kanakpura road extream left is never safe.

Anyways Now i must add that bangalore riders are group oriented now. Its really appreciatable that we ppl r following the group riding rules. At least we are trying to follow isn't it? Praful was in different josh with his new michline tyre. but he was leading well enough. was waiting from when he was lil fast. We took first break around harohalli where exactly the pradeep incidence happend last year. Praful's bike was leaking oil. Between whats the condition now dude ?

We took short break. Got call from coplay. He was at Cool joint. I am really sorry coplay that i never knew that u were in for the ride. Later again got call from Rishi and nithin. as i told earlier i was completely in dark about their attendance. Next time plz confirm me by sms/post. anyways i m sorry nithin / rishi for the sudden plan changing.

Took second break at Kanakpura for breakfast. Left Kanakpura, the scenetic road started. It was really good to ride after kanakpura.

Wait a min here..... Am I to understand that the plan was changed at the last min and was not communicated to people over the forums?

Its understandable to have changes within a small closed group. But with an open group like this, making a sub-group on sms is incorrect, because not everyone can be expected to keep sending sms's for confirmation all the time. xBHP forum is there just for that purpose and must be maintained as the ONLY medium of communication for any plan changes. Else, don't announce it at all. Having a secondary medium like sms for communication will always isolate new riders out, and in my opinion, will not be appreciated.

This method of organizing rides over sms with open invitations on xBHP must be revised. Personally, I would prefer to stay out of this sms loop and would rather keep an eye on the forums for any relevant information. That was the very reason for registering on xBHP in the first place.

^^ There was no ride plans/meeting point/meeting time communicated over the forums.

If someone assumes that they can just drop in without letting the person who's organising (i.e. John) that they too would be coming for the ride, then I think its entirely their mistake. There was no communication from John over the forum that the such and such will be the meeting point or meeting time.AFAIK they did not even ask for meeting point/time, let alone posting confirmations irrespective of the medium. Am I right John?

Anyways, this is a matter for Kadambam so lets take it there rather than dilute this ride thread!

There are many members of xbhp who doesn't have net access always. They like to join with us but due to limited net access they missed. Based on this concept sms was taken as a appropriate media to contact as cell is one of the most quick and active communication way.

It was an awesome ride....... posting few snaps....
