yep!! my bike gave DTS effects since it had a problem in carb!! a mixed sound of RX with XL !!! and that battery draining issue will be explained by suru ji!! with his interesting log !!!

Guys, it was regretful that both cams drained, so some pictures had to be taken by mobiles. Hence, the quality of photos are low..

EDIT: Hey buddy, though the pics look different (film camera type) but I should say the pics are good!! We had a decent camera but I doubt my pics are any better than yours. I shall post some of them here.

yep we took the offroading route adjacent to that small temple !!! meanwhile i meant that we were in conoor by 10:45 and not in the dam!!! it was about 12 when we reached the dam!!

Holy Kau!!! x2.. Im seriously amazed at how you guessed this place. This place was never a tourist attraction. The locals use it for their weekend getaway for a drink. I did not call you because I thought you dropped the plan. Yeah, we were in Coonoor having breakfast at 10:45. Sure do post some pics, would love it...

The route to Raliah dam was Coonoor - Supply Depot - Staff College - Bharathi Nagar - Bandhimai - Dam.. The other route goes directly from Bettatti... FYI, Bettatti is the place where is a cricket ground down....

hello guyz,
i am shiva pursuing MBA from GRD IM,coimbatore. i own karizma. i am really finding it difficult getting a Engine oil over here!!(i prefer motul or petronas).

would surely like to meet you guyz.lets ride!

I guess it is for internet savvy jantha!! Also we stayed in Bison Country, there they gave us a list of places to visit and Raliah dam was just 3 or 4 km from there and its just a KM from Bettati toll gate in a Village called Anaidah(was it named after the veteran singer Aniada??)!!!

The locals use it for their weekend getaway for a drink.

I think that was in past!! Now I see someone doing rounds there with a danda (stick/ lathi) in his hand and scaring away suspiciously moving persons but definitely not poking the tourists!! Luckily, I found an exotic looking animal, which I clicked but could not capture it quite well in the camera. I was approaching it cautiously but some stupid bloke ran towards it holding the camera and that poor thing ran off before I could take a good snap!!

We also went the off-road, but went by walk!! May be the 2 stroker scared the animals / birds away. Though we could not see, we heard some birds for the first time in life and the walk through with the eucalyptus trees on either side was fantastic!! And the regular birds we saw were healthy, I guess its because they have unlimited food which is not polluted!! The animal I was talking earlier was on the trees which were behind the stone pillar erected near the dam!!

The pics are at home and no internet connection at home. If I get time, I shall try to upload some pics in the afternoon!! Else I can only upload them on Friday, as I will be out of station on work!!

Road condition,distance, whatever information you have please share it,because i have not heard of this route, but would like to take it this time.Thanks in advance
