Airscrew? You've seen it with me I guess. Take mine for now & get me one sometime when you could source one. End of it. Doesn't that sound simple ji?Originally posted by dpak89 View Posti wish so! but sadly there are many reasons which is stopping me!
need some spares which i am not getting and with its gracious mileage of ~20 i need a very deep pocket which i currently dont have!
Selling the kidney days are long gone Deepak ji, guess the 4s has kept you a little far from the current price in the markets. Sellers are expecting much more than shelling out a kidney now..Originally posted by dpak89 View Postit might have fancied you or in orther words you might have felt you Ba**s for the first time when you twisted the throttle! but the simple fact is that you need to sell your kidney to have that feeling
i would say, go ahead if you have enormous money and time in hand!
Just a quote what Aargee said sometime back "If i have to sell my CBR to get a Carb for my RX, i better not buy that"
Agreed to every bit of it there, but those are the days where one could just walk into an ass and get spares like off the shelves. Do you think it's the same right now too? Let alone the 100 guys, at-least they are blessed with bore kits in ass now, the fraternity of 135 & the Z guys are really pathetic. I once got a quote of close to 15k for a Z tank alone which was higher than the price that I paid for the bike itself. Let alone the tank, think of the critical spares, you'll sure start going bonkers.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostYou're absolutely right, it was 2.5 years since my last rapport with the RX and boy the bliss of it was just....as you told.... KIDNEYS!
But that said, switched to four stroke well after that and now for six years and with two four jokes, Marco just rekindled my emotions very badly. Plus what, you get good attention from girls, especially the way I and Marco look. I've personally gotten very good reviews from my office friends, mechanic and what not. Just fell in love for the second time.
Suru will tell you more about my ex-RX relationship, cos he knows it very well and the very reason why I love his Marco
Money and time both I don't have Deepak ji, but it's just a newly bloomed idea. Let me see, if I sell one of my jokes for a stroke, that is the plan. But let me wait and surely gonna revert to Ram for any help.
Cheers!
VJ
Additionally, me & Sri are almost in the other parts of the world throughout in my flat screen, wishing some luck could show up for the parts... This is the reality.
@ Vijay, Seriously. Don't do the same mistake I did. At least I finished building my bike and happy after 8 months of purchase. I seriously doubt if that will be same in your case. Absolutely no offence to your potential, it's all about Moolah & Spares availability.Originally posted by SriramEfunds View PostIf you love P220 and happy riding with it, then stay away from RX, for God sake! That's not a good idea to have 2 stroke blooming in you.
R.E.S.P.E.C.TOriginally posted by SriramEfunds View Post2 stroke is not just a genre esp. RX, it's a cult/religion.
After all the Gyaan about spares availability & stuff, if you still insist in getting one. Go ahead & get it without selling anything in your stable. We'll work something out for spares..Afterall if it's a genuine 2s'ker the gang that i know here is always ready to help.Originally posted by B7ACKTHORN View PostJust loved that part "That's not a good idea to have 2 stroke blooming in you.
"
I mean Sri ji you're the RX expert, I hate to say this, but when it comes to RX, boy you have my utmost atomic respect. Yes you're right about spares, just a stint with Marco (Suru's RX) oh boy I just swapped my 220 for his RX for a week and just fall in love each time I just turn the ignition on. 5 years of RX gap, I need to quench my RX thirst when I was "THUG" yesteryear.
I dunno Sri ji, I have two jokes on VICTOR 125 and the other 220, just now did engine work for VICTOR after a long time, still some work needs to to be sorted out. Planning to sell after repairing after a while to a good friend of mine and then take RX, but all is still preliminary.
The reason the RX thought bloomed is for two reasons, first, I need one badly, second and most important I have the best guys like you and Ram with me as my buddies. Over confident? Yes, as long as you guys are there!
I know how passionate you are about RX, the immense knowledge you have in RX just makes me befuddle. Will surely call you the moment I decide I need to be a "cult"
P.S. You're not that old are you?
Cheers!
VJ
Absolutely...Originally posted by karthiktup View Post2 stroke is a addiction.. So beware. I still remember how many days I had spend sleepless nights. Sourcing from all the places.. Running like mad to all the places if I got hint for the parts and even that continues ..

If its pre 89, don't even bat an eyelid. Now that we all have 'shared' your guilt, blame it on us and just get it.
I can only see one after effect post purchase, Blackthorn =
. And he wouldn't give a blah as to who is looking or not looking. I doubt one could fart while riding an RX. Forget all that.

Honestly I don't have the time and enough dough like you've dedicated to your bike Ram. I don't want a bike too ostentatious, I want the bike, simple, original. I am really looking for a RX, but still I am like a cat on the wall. The decision of me taking an RX was first and foremost, and I repeat, the sole belief that you guys are there for me to help in both bike and spares, truth to be told.
I don't wanna look like a immature college kid here, but I just am having crazy dreams of RX. I just want one. I think it's about time that I invest some money in a piece of machine that rekindles your emotions every time you crank the starter than just a poser, which I've been most of my life. Sick of it? Yes! I need to get a life, Ram.
Will talk to you, in person when we meet. Fingers crossed.
Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
The girl said, 'NO!'
And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Ooty - Why?
Number 1. Scenic views
Number 2 Hills, and good to bring newbikes and teach them group riding skills. Plus being a gang in hills teaches them essential skills and fun!
Number 3: Ooty Tea
Number 4: I live here

Number 5: Fingers crossed
Cheers!

How about taking the long route to Ooty via Kilkunda?

Kilkunda does have some very good roads. And trust me roads in Villages are superb than in town.
That'd be a good proposition, but then if it's okay with two strokers, then we can game!
I'd say we can ride to Upper Bhavani as a gang, that's an awesome place, with excellent roads and less traffic.
If it's Ooty, let's plan Upper Bhavani, as a gang!
Cheers!
