Attention ISG2G Riders

We will have a Pre ride for the ISG2G on 7th Oct or 14th Oct. I think we will keep this as mandatory for all the riders since there are newbies and it's long time we have grouped.

Suggestion for place are welcome ( one day ride)

How about a Coimbatore - Annur - MTP - Kotagiri - Ooty - Junction Bus Stop - Lovedale - Kaikaati - Selas - Kaateri - MTP - Coimbatore .. route.. comes approx 210 kms... Scenic route, absolutely fantastic roads.. Would be even more fun if it was raining..

How about a Coimbatore - Annur - MTP - Kotagiri - Ooty - Junction Bus Stop - Lovedale - Kaikaati - Selas - Kaateri - MTP - Coimbatore .. route.. comes approx 210 kms... Scenic route, absolutely fantastic roads.. Would be even more fun if it was raining..

I suggest to keep this ride simple since

1. It will be Maiden group ride for some, so no over estimating their capabilities.
2. We don't want to risk our rides pushing to the extreme as big ride is around the corner
3. The purpose of the ride is to get synced with each other so we need some time to discuss

@ Suru - You had planned to get new block by Oct 1st week so i am wondering do you want to rip in the fresh block. You have to do the Run in at least 600 Kms before Ripping

I suggest this route which we have not done before and it's quite remote and of course scenic too with occasional Hair pin bends

CBE - Ananikatti - Kottathara - Elachivazhy - Mulli - Karaimadi - CBE

I suggest to keep this ride simple

Exactly what was running in my mind, not to evaluate or under estimate an individuals potential, but the first ride, the simpler the better will it turn out to be. More than a ride, this is for interaction between the group members and learn to understand the differences in wavelength and how to cope with them for a smoother overall Tri State one's.

1. It will be Maiden group ride for some, so no over estimating their capabilities.
2. We don't want to risk our rides pushing to the extreme as big ride is around the corner
3. The purpose of the ride is to get synced with each other so we need some time to discuss

Rightly said, this pre ride is mostly letting to know the newbies how the oldies will ride. Again I'm saying this "Not to underestimate anyone's potential here" the better we sync in a group the better the results would be." So, i would suggest to start with plains..

Ji, a good Table fan, good 2T oil & petrol Pre-mix & a wall clock is more than enough for the run-in if he couldn't finish it within stipulated time

I suggest this route which we have not done before and it's quite remote and of course scenic too with occasional Hair pin bends

@Suru :- Technically speaking you ought to have completed the runnin now for the ride in November. Newly rebuilt engine on the ghats might affect your engine. Just try to complete 1000kms religiously with added 2T oil. Rest Ram shall guide you for the prep.

Recently Piston rings busted (will tell you the story)
Bike doesn't pull like before...

Really good route (CBE, anakatti, mulli)
Also try upto mannarkad, because the after mulli upto mannarkad is scenic and u feel the climate in early morning.
It's my favorite route too..,
