Nothing, but he has chopped off the Flute inside to give it more mean sound. Ur's are way too loud than a stock ji. Try hunting for a standard flute in market. Stock sound's even sweet.

this is what i asked you yesterday on phone!! some mech try to to cut the silencer core and will make 135's silencer sound like 100's!! but nothing will come close to original 100's sound!! so please verify whether your silencer is a 100's or not through a YSS or someone who knows it!!

No wonder its loud!!!

Was mentally set for the ride on Friday until my mech traumatized my enthusiasm by saying that the front tire would likely not stand for the ride. It is actually kind of flat, would certainly need a replacement, but Im not sure whether my budget would accomodate "Siracs." Please suggest me some tires. Got an Yezdi base at the rear... Bike now in mech's shop for changing the airfilter box to accomodate the battery, noise in the clutch, and T-stem screw replacement... Ram, since you have ridden the bike, are there any works to be done for the ride... Independence day ride, thinking ji...

As far as my knowledge there is nothing much to do ji... Just about a tyre change & plug reading at regular intervals would suffice.

@ram: ji run in can be done even on our trip, its not a big deal coz if we maintain a specific rpm and specific speed with respect to the gear..nothing will do harm !! so i suggest you can definitely take your bike for a 500+km trip also..
@Suru:some points which i learned, before going on a trip in Rx are
1.chain sprocket/chain check.
2.spark plug/have spare plug also
3.carb tuning and cleaning.
4.all oil seals to be checked for leak.
5.brake cables and clutch cables check.
i think there are some more... but this is enough i hope ...and also you should have a tools kit compulsorily !!
Reg tire > for time being go for MRF rib ...it will be cheap.

err...ji i think factory recommends 20 micron as standard gap..correct me if i am wrong...then 30mic is ok for high speeds .....this is what seniors have said based on their valuable experience...so its ok only..unless you hear a ringing noise from cylinder anyway if there is some problem with it do you think a good run-in can correct it?? i doubt it!! so dont feel sad abt it!! its good only!! i did not follow run in at all for my bike which is using a local piston thanks to my mech ...only good thing he did was sleeving it good with best clearance!!and for high clearence less run-in distance is enough
