No problem, Karthik. Mistakes happen, glad you understood.

Regarding the magazine, in Cbe it's really hard to get it. You can go the xBhp website and pay online, or else, you can use the cash on pay delivery as Aravinth mentioned.

DialABook.com, go to this website, type xBhp and check out their issues available. You can even call them for subscription and it's cash on delivery.

    Cheers!

Once upon a time, a guy asked a girl 'Will you marry me?'
    The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

      Glad to help.

There is also a magazine shop in the Railway Station road.
I forgot the name. Ram may be able to help.

Yes, cash on delivery option for Coimbatore is presently not available. However, they provide you with their bank details if you opt to deposit cash in their account. I got the last two issues by depositing cash in their account. Its hassle free if you have internet banking.

Im not sure about the name of the shop, but if you take a stroll opposite to the court (near KG Hospital, KG theater), there are a couple of book shops that sells all types of magazines, you can find Xbhp magazines available there.

          • but - nothing happens here ... Just talking, posting on walls ... I am part of some other biker groups where we really rock with a great brotherhood ... I am just back from a fishing trip to ooty ... Last month we rode cbe - valparai - athirapally for ktmc 6a ... This month end we are riding in the night to mahabs thro pondi for mbmc 10a ... There is also a group of super bikers riding every fortnight ... I doubt this group will ever ride ????

@ all members of the coimbatore thread - guys i know everyone is tied up with work and stuff but we sure need to do something to get this thread alive and kicking as before. There have been no city meets, g2g or even any contacts like before... Why can't we take out even a little time of the day's work and get in touch with each other !!!!

Please co-operate and help this small but special community of bikers in coimbatore grow.

            Cheers

            • vijay, don't take this offensive ... i don't feel anything wrong in using slang like machi, maplai etc ... it shows only the bonding between people ... also, there is no discrimination like seniors / juniors / newbies here ... everyone are the same !!!

True, Josh. But then, at least people who are interested in doing a Leh can have a G2G ASAP here in Ooty or elsewhere. And I tried calling you for the past two days and mobile says switched off, thank god you had a look at the thread Thank you. Fingers crossed

And Karthik, I need to give a small friendly advice.

Please make sure, you know what you speak when you say machi, mapla etc etc. The people in this thread are very experienced and very senior members here in whatever ways you wanna call it.

So I kindly request you to use either a sir or by their names, which will do for the most part. This will help you in the long run.

              Thanks!

              Cheers!

Absolutely man. This is xBhp where everyone is equal, irrespective of what they are and what they have. But there is something called "mutual respect".

I can't come to any senior xBhp biker's house say, hey machi how are you doing? Does this mean BONDING? Yes we bond, but we bond here as a person, as a biker as a single soul to ride, with mutual respect. At least that's what my parents taught me!

I hope I made myself clear.

                Thanks!

                    • Everyone has a perspective and i totally agree to ur view on this.

I agree by what you say, but the greeting was just on the wall and not coming to anyone'S house and all that blah ... blah not as ur UNWANTED exaggeration.

But the simple thought was - even if u have disagreed you could have sent a PM rather than bringing such comments in public - humiliating a newbie and making him feel embarrassed.

NEVER HUMILIATE ANY PERSON IN PUBLIC AS IF WE KNOW EVERYTHING!

At least that's what my education & parents taught me!

I hope I made myself clear.

Generally to all - Post only about Rides & Bikes on the public board, for everything else there is PM!

                      Cheers!

I don't wanna argue over petty issues and I never HUMILIATED anyone. Kindly go back a thread and read carefully what I was intending to say to the person. Please don't come to a conclusion all of a sudden without perceiving what's written and just for the sake to write something. It was a very humble request, and there isn't much so called "humiliating" as you said. I said it in the thread because any newbie who's here can see that, can know who is in the thread, so that they grow up the learning curve.

Yes this thread is for rides and bikes, and still will be the same.

                        • Neither i am here to argue for petty issues, but this had something to do with the future of this club! I wrote this only because this club needs a lot of newbies and they have to be welcomed with a warm heart.

Over the lotta rides i have done in the past year with various clubs in the past one year - the first thing i have noticed from seniors is the way they groom, welcome and honor newbies. and that machaa / maplai thing is a freak word! There is no rule in this forum that these words shud not be used!

If u want to advise someone of ur personal thoughts do it with PM. I am writing so that advising anyone on the public forum does not repeat!

                          Repeat

                            • Hi Sakthi.. good to read from you after a really long time... I would not be coming for the track day but would surely come to Kari just to meet u and a few old friends by sunday noon.

@ Vijay & Manoj.. guys there is no point in arguing your points, both are right in their own ways and as far as using words like maccha or maplai etc within members be it seniors or junoirs... I STRONGLY FEEL THAT IT CAN BE LEFT TO THE MEMBERS ITSELF.. IF THERE IS GOOD BONDING AND CLOSENESS BETWEEN ANY MEMBERS BE IT OLD OR NEW AND THEY PREFER TO CALL OR BEING CALLED AS SUCH THEN BE IT.

If any member does not like being referred to so or has any problem then he can PM the other guy saying so and carry on. It would just be so simple.

@ ALL - THIS IS THE OFFICIAL CALLING FOR A CITY MEET IN COIMBATORE ON 22ND APRIL (SUNDAY) BETWEEN 4PM TO 7PM AT INDULGE-RACE COURSE ROAD.

Request all members who are registered with the CBE thread to please make it there well in time, this would be a meeting for knowing each other, sorting out any differences and also can be a welcome meet for new members.

Members who cannot make it please confirm your status before Thursday and please try to make it for this meet unless its really unavoidable.

Hoping that at least this meet would be successful .

@Josh: just quoting your previous post ... I did agree for "any destination" for the last week G2g. But as usual there was no information of trips planned. So i did have my own trip!
@All:Its been like one and half year in CBE for me, but a very few rides have happened. I know this was a very active group earlier but still i would like to see that activeness again in action.
P.S: Josh i gave a visit to your showroom last friday on my way to bangalore. But unfortunately you were not there .
