Am pretty much here and have been a spectator all the while... anyways OOTY on tuesday sounds very tempting and meeting all the Biggies of XBHP is even more but a week day and specially in March End is very very hectic.. will surely update by tomm my final plans. Hi 4htn4v3r: Welcome to the Official Coimbatore thread. Rides do happen here in the Coimbatore. As of late, there arent any rides planned as a few members are planning for Leh this season. Do follow the thread. Rides happen when you least expect.

And guys very lately, some of our members have been "defunct" I am forced to used that word, especially, Ram, KV, and even Josh ji to some extent. I know you guys have been tied up with work et al.

Why don't we Cbe guys plan for a G2G or a small trip to the Yelagiri Hills as we previously planned. There were some members who refuted at the last moment and only myself, Rammy and KV had to go to Munnar last time, which was good but we missed the active members. So why don't we plan something this April or the consecutive months?

Please, I want something big of a trip this time with everyone of us here in the forum, if at all we plan and the trip is finalized.

Hello Guys.... first of all a very warm welcome to all the new members of the Cbe chapter of XBHP.

Sorry guys have been really tied up lately coz of work and personal life, but have been checking the regular activities and very glad to see so many new members joining and so many active members too.

The LEH trip for July 2012 is CONFIRMED and interested riders start giving in your final confirmations latest by April End so that we can book Flight tickets, hotels etc at a cheaper price. We will have a city meet soon and all details regarding the LEH trip will be discussed.

April month seems to be a very good time for a G2G... I suggest we do a one night stay program.. tentative dates are 14th and 15th of April (sat & Sun).

Place suggested - BANDIPUR , YELLAGIRI HILLS, KODAIKANAL, MUNNAR.
Any other hill station which is around 200 kms is ok.

Start pouring your suggestion and confirmations.

14th and 15th seems pretty feasible and thanks again for the suggestions, Josh ji. I think since Bandipur is a little near for me, considering it's a little far for you guys joining from Cbe, it's only 60 odd kms for me and it's a wildlife reserve, which you know very well.

Yelagiri, Kodaikanal and Munnar are very well above 250 Kms which is a pretty good ride, considering the trip myself, Rammy and KV made, awesome twisties of the Munnar!

But then this time I suggest we go for the Yelagiri Hills, else Kodaikanal . But my vote is for Yelagiri Hills considering the twisites and pristine-ness!!

And Josh ji, I think chilling out in Yelagiri or elsewhere too is a pretty good place to also share your views, advice and et al regarding the Leh trip for those who are concerned.

P.S: i was about to travel to Bangalore this weekend. But unfortunately my friend in whose home i used to stay is not available there. so i may call off the plans due to unavailability of place . If cancelled i am thinking of going somewhere..Maybe to someplace where i have not been...like vagamon.. Interested/suggestions welcome.
