Hyosung Begins operations in Coimbatore today. PHOENIX SUPER BIKES located on the main Avinashi Road in Coimbatore is the 16th Dealership to be opened by Hyosung & Garware Motors in INDIA.

Owned and Operated by our very own CBE XBHP Member Sivaraj Periyasamy, this dealership expects to bring in a lot of changes in the Biking segment in Coimbatore with high powered machines and expects selling 3-4 nos per month in the initial stages. With all 3 S facilities like SALES-SERVICE & SPARES, Coimbatore is soon going to rocking with SUPERBIKES from HYOSUNG.

I'm Ayaz from Ahmedabad, 8-10 members from Ahmedabad are planning to come down to to Kari Motor Speedway for a Track Day, we would like to know what the charges are, whats the procedure / documents required for us to run our bikes on the track, We do not want to participate in any official event, we just want to experience what it feels like to be out there on the track.

Any info on this subject will be highly appreciated, any contact details of the Admin office at Kari too will be greatly appreciated.

Hi Ayaz, gud to know u guys are planning to come to Coimbatore. The kari track charges are approx RS 400.00 Per hour per bike and the booking has to be done in advance as the track is most of the time busy. Also you can book the track for one full day for some 20 thousand, which provides you full privacy and that way only you guys can use the track for full day without any other crowd disturbing. Documents required are basic like valid licence, bike documents, insurance and puc.

Do let us know if u need further details, will surely be glad to help fellow bikers

Thanks a lot Josh5898, someone told me that we also need Track License is that true. Are there any instructors there who can help / guide us with the basics, Rs. 400 per hour seems reasonable if the facilities are good.

@ayaz... no bro, u don't need the track license to just use the track... if u are participating in any one make race or championship only then you need a track licence.

Hoping it's the Iannone edition in Black Gloss....Great Looker, but how Pocket drilling is to use a 30k Helmet on the Streets of India? (Ji, let's not debate about saving the head, as even the best of the best Corsair V & AGV GP Tech has shaved off some valuable heads out there) an accidental trip down on the shell will technically render the shell useless right?

Ayas, apart from what Josh has suggested, you should also check out the feasibility on MMSTC, Chennai. It's tad cheaper when compared to kari.

@Rammy: Ji, yea yean indha kola veri. Still haven't tried it outside, but boy, feather weight ji, pretty good Italian job there. Second you on that one completely, nothing can save our noggin. But that being said, this one's shell is carbon, kevlar and fiberglass, some high tech gimmick, but as you said, nothing can be safe, but it's always better na. Big damage to the pocket, but at least worth the Italian heritage, don't you think?

BE READY COMING TO CBE THIS WEEKEND, TO YOUR HOME AND HYOSUNG SHOWROOM JUST FOR A SPIN OR AT LEAST PARK MY ASS FOR ONCE ON THAT HYOSY!
