Yes Vijay, this trip as heard from who have done it, is a pretty rugged one and not something which is done for Timepass or just for fun!! when i heard from karthick ji abt his experience of the trip it was very understandable that it needs lot of experience. so please do some trips and get used to the riding gears they completely mute the outside world from us...i will also do my best after i come back
And yea would love to meet you all!!

@Deepak, I live in Ooty, which is say next to Kashmir lol. And your comment "please do some trips" really made me a dent on my ego, lol

But yea, been, lived and brought up here in Ooty, having ridden pretty good distances, I can consider myself a good rider too mate, I mean come on, CONFIDENCE BOSS CONFIDENCE!

On the gear front, I am just a little skeptical as to the little things that matter the most, it's not the entire gear I am worried, there again a dent, lol.

But let's see. As i said, a big meeting with the former guys, a clear point of view what's needed and what's not and the formidabble souls that are part of this, all of this is what makes the journey buddy.

And we have ways of time here, I mean WAYS of time, so there is not a reason to fuss about. I was just a little cocked up on the idea of Leh, as everyone initially do and it still is a burning desire for me.

But that said, let's see what's in store for us.

Pricing is almost the same but just to be safe keep a 200 or 300 above what I quoted. Shipping another 150/-

P.S. Pls. don't get fooled by the color of the piston, it's the old stock that has some oxidation on it, can be removed by througough cleaning or just plonk it as it is, will not make a difference. :-)

We're all the same frogs in the same well Deepak. I mean you didn't offend me at all, did you think so?

I mean I respect every single soul's view here, be it novice or an expert. Each and every rider, has a unique story to tell, which as I biker I always cherish and so keen to be on.

It all started a few months ago, I may not know a few members, be it you, josh, vaishak or anyone for that matter. Everyone has one unique identity which I love and that's the free revving soul in them, you know what I mean

So, no apologies between us, no hassles.

P.S. Also going back a few threads, came to know you're an Yammy freak, me too. .

All the best for your new ride, will catch up one fine day.

my busiest months are may and june this year...(since iam working for Japs they have forecasted my work for 2 yrs ). i would like to keep july as a buffer. So if it is later than july i can be 100% sure that i can join you Josh but anyything before that i am not very sure!
