There is this thing called Shivanasamudra Falls, looks fabulous mate

Distance from Ooty to Shivanasamudra Falls: Ooty, Tamil Nadu to Shivanasamudra Falls - Google Maps

Also starting from Ooty gives us a little relief KM wise, and not to mention, we go thru the Mudumalai track, so it's double fiesta

Consider this too mate.

We'll see what other folks has to offer, but then if anything clicks, we'll go for it. MAJORITY WINS

Hii friends.. Today I may be riding to Ooty from Cochin. I would be passing through Coimbatore. Is there any issues related to Mullaperiyar there at coimbatore, Mettupalayam? , I mean are agitators attacking KL reg Vehichles at your place..

Namkkal is worst everyone knows and usually prefers to take via

Erode- thiruchengode- raasipuram- kolli hills.. jus 8 km long than namakkal...

as i said already i hv been there using above route.

Also what about Yelagiri? It's cool by the way, comes around 265 Kms from Tiruppur, and give or take 336 from Ooty and from 319 from Cbe to reach Yelagiri.

Also there is a non-profit organisation that offers accommodation, dormitory accommodation, trekking and other camp activities callled YMCA Camp Centre.

The roadway to Yelagiri is finely constructed and well punctuated with the milestones and signboards all way through. Petrol pumps are sufficient enough which makes traveling convenient and easy: source: WIKI
