    SOL costs 4k right ji, but include the following in your invoice too;

    1. Smoked or Iridium Visor if needed - 650(I guess for smoked & 750 for Iridiums)
    2. TNT Insured Courier charges Rs.500

    Which will add upto Rs.5250/-

How is the fork inner tubes ? usually you get longitudinal scratches leading to leak, ...so get it checked..
What did you mean by Crank play ? is the main bearing having gap in it's fitting to the crankcase ? or crank pin had become loose with respect to its fitting on the crank lobe ?
For all your parts requirement there is a Senior RX Restorer ,who has tons of parts ,and is also helpful.....

Ram, thanks a ton for the pics. I myself was thinking about a visit but due to work and transport, not been able to come. I have enquired in a lot of places about the painting. Possibly by tomorrow evening, should finalize the place. Will call you. The guy with whom I had a talk with seems to be keen on picking up some commission. So I will go directly and meet the painter and will have a chat. Anways, will keep you posted.

@all: A couple of tips if havent already seen.

                    • Suru/Ram and others :- Pardon me for a little OT. Can't wait till you open a thread.

                      1. Change all the bearing and engine oil seals (HTA seals are available for Rs. 150/- they are OE suppliers to Yamaha)
                      2. If you have time visit Vijaydeep in Bangalore for crank setting. They are the BEST.
                      3. Just before you go for painting, weld a piece to the frame (area just below the tank) to place YEIS powerbox just incase you want to go for. (optional)
                      4. Change the swing arm bush (Must)
                      5. FYI.. whenever you remove the cylinder and place it back, tend to make more 'bore noise' (experience)
                      6. Get the old RX100 2T side oil tank for the needle gauge to give authentic look.
                      7. Mildly smoothen the exhaust port (option) for slightly peppy ride. This is not porting.
                      8. Coat the inner walls of fenders with undercoat paint to prevent rust formation.
                      9. For unconditional help, call me!

The Crank shaft isn't the problem sri, the lower bearing space fitting into the crank case has seen it's age and has play from left to right. That is what we are looking to solve at..

                              • @Ram :- As PSR Sir said, you might need to go for the new inner crankcase set or even good condition used one. Try B'lore for 2T Oil tank. It's been raining the whole week here. Will surely get the plug for the group.
