@Ram :- As PSR Sir said, you might need to go for the new inner crankcase set or even good condition used one. Try B'lore for 2T Oil tank. It's been raining the whole week here. Will surely get the plug for the group.

Sriram Ji I am also in chennai only, got soaked in rain...... Oil Tank lens for RX 100 I searched for nearly one month and got in a spare parts shop where they have kept in stock ....

Looking at the way the clouds are throwing up....looks like its gonna be wt riding for most of it.As such Hassan and its surroundings are prone to rain most of th year. :-(

Good to see TWO dedicated RX restorers exchanging useful info....
I guess you have to change both inner crank cases to get correct fitting of the crank bearings.
The Land of Kari is the land of Mods, .....remember to set the timing with strobe...just a suggestion.

Thanks PSR Ji, First of all sorry for the late reply..was tied up with work... With regards to the Crank Cases as of now we're planning to work on the crank & see if the ply is still there & replace the cases if necessary...

Dropped my bike in SVC to repair the damages. Have been slapped a 11k bill :'( excluding insurance have to pay nearly 4k for body parts alone! Limited edition body parts are too costly

Makes me thing 2 Strokes are always better...No ji..?

There are people who have run 30k+ without any major issues...Afterall Its all luck
2Strokes are very simple in construction(like Willy's Jeep) and there is nothing that can mess up Pure peace of mind. But heck, its the availability of spares and generous mileage that scares me to take it out.

+1 on the luck part. At least many strokers in Ooty, just rip the RX to crap, ride with CRB oil, go to Gudalur, Mysore, rip rip rip all the way, and never a day I've heard any problem from them. And their bikes are second to junk materials, but it still SMOKES the crap out of anyone with its sound. Just love RX any day!

Will it be a good idea to soak the entire helmet (Immersion Method) in mild detergent??

Else; Use a skull cap Sampath ji...
