Thanks to Suru for accompanying and guiding us in purchasing the jacket as well as to Dinesh and Sampath for their suggestions.

Cool. As of now only BikerPaul and Gobi have purchased their jackets! Still two more, plus Surendran to go!

What's your size? Don't go for Triton, go for Spartan jacket, the one Karthi ji has, it's a really good jacket for our climate. Triton is basically winter suited.

Got the Accelerator, Clutch, Choke cables with brake and clutch levers...
Told my mechanic to get the bulbs and spark plug..

Off all your talk, would like to elaborate a point here - Pre-ride!

Pre-ride is considered important as there will be newbies excited, nervous, over-confident and even scared to interact with others in the group. The pre-ride gives them the chance to mingle with the others, know each other, educate, point out the shortcomings, share best practices and most importantly know each's riding style. It will also give some insight to their machine if any noticible problem surfaces so that the same can be rectified before the ride date. Let's not pull example of what was done during earlier G2G. That's immaterial here. You have a leader and I believe the information for pre-ride was posted on the form with sufficient time. Now, digging into what happened to you or anyone who could not join the ride is not my focus.

No, I was not there for Wayanad but for InterState G2G 2011 held at Munnar. We had pre-rides every location participated if my memory is good. If those who organize the G2G earlier did not conduct pre-ride is it upto them. So can't quote as an example to get an excuse. Let me not interfere too much as who can ride and who cannot, that'll be Karthikeyan's role.

'Being a part of XBHP, i have the right to choose my rides and cannot be compelled into a ride by any sort as a rule which really disturbs ...'

Think again, when you have rights to choose to be a part of the ride or not, what will happen if others start to think if they don't want ride with a particular person? Words like these will have receiprocation.


@CBE group:- Where are pics from pre-ride? Not even a mobile camera pic? Hard to believe that even after 3 days, yet to see a pic. Hoping someone will post soon.
Ghats, corners, highways and town roads needs your complete focus and 100% eye for details while riding. So, let's Run to the Hills!

what he is posting is contradictory to what he practices in chennai xbhp. in the context of this post he is saying anyone wh doesn't attend a pre-ride cant ride to the isg2g.. but there are members in chennai xbhp who are not attending the pre-ride but are coming for the isg2g for whatever reason.

in the end, if he can be lax so can karthik with regards to josh who is a experienced rider. pl do not use my name. thanks. even i find it offensive and have informed the moderators privately. but no actions seems to be coming forth. i was also discriminated in the same way.

Was busy with works and i hope the preparations for ISG2G was going good. As discussed in the pre ride, the 2 stroker's be prepared with the spare parts and get your bike fit and running. Happy to know that some had got their new jackets .

I had ordered a crate of Motul 510 2 T and expecting delivery by this week and we can share and trying to get hold of the NGK BP8HS too

Ps: I am not willing to comment or post about immature and unwarranted post's here

I would suggest to have a city meet on either 27th/28th oct in CCD or XYZ cafe. It will be the perfect time to hand out the printed route plan and contact details of members. We can also make change in route plan(if necessary, based on sensitivity at that time). Further if anyone has some problem in their steed, it can be solved or we have at least a week's time to resolve it. Riders position in the group should also be fixed, since we had different positions in Pre-ride.
@Karthi: Is this ok for you,since you have to travel more?
@Vijay: Same applies to you too...I can call you and update the happenings of the meet.
@Rest: If you have already planned something on the mentioned days, no issues. This is just a optional meet. But try to attend if possible, to avoid last minute confusions.

@ all 2 Strokers, pls. don't procure any 2-T Oil (Piston Chamber one) until further confirmation from karthi. W'll be getting 510 T i guess..
