Amit.. If ur looking for a SBK then I suggest u get one from performance racing store or nachos motors etc or then get one online. Getting one in Coimbatore is not easy.

We at xBhp Delhi are having a G2G on the 10th of May to collect funds to help out the people of Nepal through long term xBhpian and Biker, Tilak Soni. It would be great if bikers from your city could come together and contribute towards this noble cause. If you had intended to Join for ISG2G, Pre ride ( one day ride) was planned on 7th June. It is mandatory for non seasoned riders / Riders riding with xBhp coimbatore for the first time / Joining with xBhp coimbatore after 1.5 + years .

Not sure about any event at the Kari Motors, but Benelli had their bikes displayed at Race Course Coimbatore on Saturday and Sunday, and were giving out test rides.

Pre Ride for ISG2G 2015 Details

Start Time : 9 AM
Start Place : Pollachi

Ride Route - Anamalai - Aliyar - Waterfall Estate ( Coffee Break & Discussion ) - Aliyar - Kottur - Anamalai - Ambara Resort ( Lunch )

Lunch will be buffet - Rs. 265 /-

Those who are registered for ISG2G are advised to attend the ride and it is MANDATORY for New Joiners / Riding with xBhp Coimbatore for first time & After 1.5 Years.

Pre ride for the isg2g was conducted on the 7th of June and a few new members also have been inducted. All main points with regard to group riding and isg2g have been explained during the ride and lunch so am assuming all members are clear about the same.

With only 10 days to go for the Isg2g ride, I hope all members have got their bikes checked and serviced.

Please keep one set of documents (DL, RC, INS, PUC) in your vehicle and ONE PHOTOCOPY OF THE SAME is to be handed over to the city POC (point of contact) which in turn will be collected at the meeting point in puliyampatti by me.
Coimbatore - SURU (poc)
Tirupur - Josh (poc)
Pollachi - Vijay (Poc)

It is going to be raining in KA so carry rain coat and polythene bags to cover your luggage. Pack all your essentials like clothes, charger etc etc In poly bags and then put them in your bags.

Do not forget to carry your personal Medicines if any.

Carry some clean cloth to wipe your helmet etc in case of rains etc. A rider is always well prepared to meet any situation, so be ready.

Check for basic tools in your bike and Carry them

Both side Rear view mirrors are a must and every bike should have them. If u do not have then Buy or borrow and get them fixed before the ride.

Proper riding gear is a must, good protective shoes, helmet, gloves, jacket is mandatory and riders without proper gear would not be allowed to ride.

Ram has explained the importance of safety gears in the pre ride.

Group Riding etiquette is very essential. If there is a checking or the cops ask us to stop for papers etc. Then do not Park the bike blocking other traffic... Follow the lead rider, park it on the side safely and wait with the team. The Sweep rider will go and handle the situation. He will have a set of all bike documents.

If the team halts for asking directions, taking a leak, or for any reason DO NOT JUST JUMP OFF YOUR BIKE AND REMOVE YOUR RIDING GEAR, TAKE OFF YOUR HELMET, LIGHT UP A SMOKE.. all these things are planned and proper breaks are allotted.

Have seen many people simply get off the bike, remove gloves, helmet and start wandering even if the stop is only for a few mins just to confirm directions, or whatever reasons.

When ever we stop, be it for a traffic signal, to attend a call, to take a piss, for Tea, lunch whatever.. Always make sure you park your bikes in a proper place and in a proper line. Do not Park blocking others. PARK IN A WAY WHERE YOU ARE AT POSITION TO IMMEDIATELY START RIDING once the break is over.

If you have finished eating soon then try and wear your gears, move your bike and be ready in line to ride. Don't wait for others or your friend to finish and gear up. We waste a lot of time in such small things.

: @ VIJAY - you are the Kitty Manager in this trip. Please note down and collect the kitty Money from all. Pls ensure that all expenses are documented for. It is a big group and people with different mind set, so would help u to avoid any questions later on.

: @ Suru - you are the POC for Cbe. Kindly discuss and post the meeting time, place etc for departure on the 3rd July morning. Would suggest you post it in the group and also create a broadcast list for Cbe team and send out messages.

@ Vijay - You are the POC for Pollachi team. Discuss and fix the meeting time and place. Post it in the group. UPDATE ME PERSONALLY also as I would be overlooking the Pollachi team planning.

@ Karthi - You are the Tirupur team POC. Kindly update details in the group.

Karthi will be riding as the LEAD and JOSH Will be riding as the SWEEP for this isg2g ride.

I would be carrying all essentials like - All bike documents, first aid kit, puncture repair kit, basic tool kits for the Isg2g.

Any additional Spares like spark plugs, head lamp bulbs, cables etc have to be carried by each rider if they want.


Would like to add in a main point for the City POC. Please check and ensure that all rider's personal and vehicle documents are valid including PUC. Karnataka state needs PUC and we all will be unnecessarily harassed if even one or two riders docs are incomplete.

All members need to keep the required docs ready and hand over to the City POC WITH OUT FAIL. Anybody with no proper document will not be allowed to ride and will be sent back home from Puliyampatti itself.

City POC please follow up and collect all docs. If any rider has not handed over the complete and valid copies of the same to u at starting point then send him back home to bring them and ask him to ride to the meeting point in Puliyampatti, while rest if the group can leave as planned.

@ all, kindly staple copies of your DL, RC, INS, PUC together, put it in an envelope marked with your name, vehicle model and Reg number on top of the envelope and give it to the POC
