Heyy Dual Disc. I wont be able to make it this time.
I need to
1. Find a place to live in
2. Service my bike (its done a lot in the past one month-some 1800km)
3. Change engine oil (unfortunately I'm running on Petronas Sprinta 5000-fully synth and my dealer in Bangalore dint have stock when I went there this weekend)

Next time, i'll make sure that i'm free. Hopefully I should've settled down by then

That's sad to hear from u! Btw. Contact Suru here, he can help u find a place as they work for Spheris in the same area. If servicing ur bike is ur only problem, that can be taken care as there are some handful of skillful mechanics with me although i can't help u get Petronas, if Motul i can arrange in 1 hr.

Great guys, It is a good plan, so that you can save ample time to roll on.
BTW, Mahesh got the DSG Phoenix Riding jacket. Josh is hunting for a helmet.

I'm Ranjith Coapullai (Coplay). I have been a member of XBHP, Bangalore for quite sometime now with a lot of friends there in the XBHP gang.
I have moved to Coimbatore 2 weeks back and I would like to participate with you guys in ur G2G's and obviously make some new friends.
I haven't found a place to stay yet, but I will soon. I am working for Cognizant in Keeranatham(Saravanampatti).

I ride a 2005 Silver ZMA with a KA registration and a couple of Alpine Stars and Bridgestone stickers.

BTW; I have interacted a lot with Dual Disc 200, so propably he's the only virtual person I know in Cbe now.

Guys, as things are going good as planned, and a little less than 80 hours to go, here's a recall from the past that must accompany every G2G including this and after:


Safety Gear Check:

• Full face Helmet (mandatory),
• Riding Gloves (Personal choice to use it or not but preferred)
• Riding Jacket Or a Denim Jacket (For safety aswell as to protect from the cold)
• Wind cheater or a Rain coat (To protect from the Rain God)
• Riding pants or Denim pants (Personal choice, no 3 quarters or shorts pls.)
• Shoes (any sneakers or the woodland ones. No casual footwears Pls.)

Bike Check:

• Check Engine oil level before the day of the trip. If ur bike tends to drink oil do bring a oil top up can,
• Check Clutch cables, accelerator cables and speedo cables,
• Check bikes carburettor and cleaning preferred if ur bike is employed with the same,
• Check Bike's electricals such as Headlights, Blinkers, tail lights and horns,
• Check bikes battery electrolyte level if employed with a maintaneance battery,
• Carry a set of spark plugs if u don't trust ur old ones, no one knows might come handy,
• Bring all the papers related to the bike such as RC, Insurance and Emission papers and also Driving licence copy.

Misc check:

• Do carry tabs if u are supposed to for a particular reason while travelling,
• A backpack or a tank bag with the following:
• Carry seperate polythene bags for wet clothes,
• Towel, Soap, Brush........
• Warm clothes for the night.

please wear all safety gears and carry extra clothing in case of rains. Also since we would be riding thru the night make sure the lights and brakes are in perfect condition.

We will be riding thru thick jungle in the early morning time so there are chances of widl life crossing the path and we need to be very careful and request all members to cooperate with the team leader and also ride responsibly.

The check list is already posted by suru and in case something is left out pls update soon.

Everything is perfect Josh, except the map, which is too small to read..! Btw. I think everyone has matured in group riding skills and will definitely follow u ( The Leader) without any problems...!

P.S @ Josh, btw. my bike is still in As is Was condition, waiting for the tires to start the long list of work that has to be carried out....!
