Well thanx dada......Originally posted by Aryan View Post@Anant: I am not at all angry or upset with you.
No issues as such, and I believe you when you say your riding style has changed, for good. And yes, do try to be a part of such rides in the future. It would be a learning experience for each one of us, for sure.

@all: The list which Ken da has mentioned might seem a little too much for this particular ride, but there are some items which would prove to be invaluable. Please do take into consideration the cold weather and do not forget to wear good, warm inners followed by good, warm (if possible) t-shirts/ sweatshirts and then top it out with riding jackets with inner liner/ or good cold weather jacket.
Please make sure that your body is covered properly to bear the cold weather that we would be facing on the highway as well as on the hills. It is no fun feeling the cold all through the ride. It kills the idea of a nice, long ride.
Also, make sure your vehicles are up and running beautifully. Chains oiled, engine oil flushed and changed, electricals working properly, etc. Carry medicines like Dispirin, diamox, etc. with you; it always comes in handy. Also, carry a general first-aid kit too. And do not forget a puncture-repair kit (for those of you who have tubeless tyres) and a spare tube(s) (for the guys who have tube-type tyres).
Rest all, we can decide later this week when we actually get to meet and discuss about this ride. Please keep all the information regarding this ride to yourself; do not share it with any third person outside the 'Induction Ride' riders' group. It's a humble request. Instead of posting it here, please give me a call as and when you want. You all have my number.
Thanks,
-Aryan:)

Riders.... all the best!! Its not always you get to ride with Aryan Da & Ken Sir. If Ken Da rides along on his R1 then another reason to jump.
I've always wanted to ride with pros & get some photography tips. But mera number bhi aayega.... Enjoy all & bring back good instances to chat and nice pics for us.
BTW 370 kms makes it pretty explicit where the group is going.
I'll check later if I guessed it right.

This is to let everybody know that the induction ride with the selected newbies went brilliant! It was a grand success. Everything went perfectly. Following riders and rides were present for the ride, and the destination was Shimla. I am sure there were people who doubted whether something like this CAN actually take place or not, whether a couple of moderators can take a bunch of newbies to the hills and come back safely at that. So, the answer surely is, Yes! We actually did it!
Riders & Ride:
1. PetrO (Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i)
2. Zayn (Bajaj Pulsar 150 DTS-i)
3. Sikhbiker (Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i)
4. thechamp (Bajaj Pulsar 180 DTS-i)
5. Psycho Mc.Crazy (Bajaj Pulsar 180 Classic)
6. Ken Cool (Bajaj Pulsar 220 DTS-Fi)
7. Aryan (Yamaha YZF-R1)
Total Distance covered: 800kms. approximately.
I know it looks like a Bajaj group more than anything else, but it just so happened to be this way.
The new thread for the detailed ride report and everything else will be up in a week's time or so.
Thanks,
