its damn cold today here in chandigarh. its freezing. and the fog is so dense that u cant even c upto 50mtrs ahead. but its fun riding in fog as u can feel the fog on ur face.

now u can well imagine the weather in narkanda.
its gonna be fun.
i would love to sip rum in that weather. ahhh....

ya, so it finally snowed, guys be careful,
and dont brake too hard on front brakes in snow....try managing ur bike with rear brakes only......
be extra cautious at turns, cos 4wheels hold better in snow and so they drive pretty fast.....

and if nothing is working on black ice, lovemax's dragging idea works the best............

@wheels : u can definately come BUT try to arrange for a bigger bike. coz the passion wud really struggle with the bigger bikes specially in the hills

@mehuel : yeah , d key to drivin in snow is slow speed and a lower gear (ie, higher rpm which helps d wheel to get a grip)

the weather is gettin colder by the day , its been snowing in the upper himachal area and our spirits are soaring higher!
the himachal explorers are :

there are two places to assemble in the morning.
-1st point is the under-pass bridge at daula kuan for people coming from south delhi side at 5:00am. raredevil,vikhyat,rollingthunder will meet here.
the assembling point will be at the middle of the under-pass road

-2nd meeting point will be peera-gari chownk at 5:20am. me , sunny , draz , cathode and tiger will be here. the guys from 1st meeting point will come here and from here we will proceed further at 5:30am so that we hit the border by 6am.

1st night will most probably be tattapani (depends on the weather)
we wont be stopping much on the highways. no point wasting time on the highway , instead we will take breaks in the hills , in the fog , in the snow.

avg cruising speeds : 90-95kmph
