    Thanks Bandhav.

The tarmac is indeed awesome there at the lavasa and Mutha ghats. The tire sticks to it very beautifully.

Cool Pics Inder...where is yours? Did I overlook it?
It indeed was a co-incidence that we had so much crowd there at the lavasa ghats.

I wasnt' practising corners yesterday was just clicking the pics. But, had a small ride of the Ninja and it was simply fantastic by the cornering abilities of the Ninja.

SUUUPER MINI TRIP LOG FOR THE LAVASSA RIDE

There were 3 ninjas on the spot...

2 from Xbhp and 1 from Rubber Ripperz.

Basically it was an XBHP Lavassa Ride ..but then later I guess riding to Lavassa was not just XBHP's plan...Rubber Ripperz and RSA too had same thing in mind....

So there we are ... XBHP,RUBBER RIPPERZ and TEAM RSA on the top of Lavassa Ghats.. practicing Knee Downs and Knee Scrapping on the corners....

So basically it turned out to be a XBHP+RUBBER RIPPERZ+RSA G2G

Tenhut from XBHP had brought his Green Goblin (Green Ninja)
Vishwas from XBHP had got his Black Reaper (Black Ninja)

        and

Mithilesh from Rubber Ripperz got his Green Ninja.

        So we had 3 ninjas....many Pulsar, a Royal Enfield Bullet,2 FZ's ,some R15.

RSA wwas crazy.... Can you believe it, a guy from RSA was takin on the corners on a SCOOTY PEP...

If this is not enuf...eat this!!! He was also try stoppie on it and just wasn't he sucessful ..he did stoppies on SCOOTY PEP not once but couple of times and very neatly....

We had few guys from Rubber Ripperz and RSA takin on the corners so smoothly and neatly.... Its just undescribable...

The sound of knee guards scrapping the road was just the rite music for our ears....

Talking about corners, it would be not be fair if I don't talk about Sagar and Ritwick

Sagar46 and our yede k mafik Ritwick are the corner kings of XBHP pune. Sagar is just so smooth on corners...its just WOW!!!!

And our Ritwick... somehow managed to get Ninja and then started his eat-the-pie (corners)..beautifully and neatly done...

We also so a lot of new faces in our G2G... Devil Pulsarian ( Saad Khan) and Tenhut (Rohan Albal) getting on the flow..after a few hesitation.... Not only did they practised the corners ..they did it most skillfully....

Bad luck to me...as it was not my day... my bike skidded twice and kissed the ground... not to worry..it was no acccident.. but just some stones underneath gave way and I cudn't control it.... but then I got my side stand broken with the spring coming out... So I better thought not to practice any corners ..

Inder as usual was bizzy taking the pic... first he tried takin the pic on the inside of the corners... but boy he was so scared at the side of the speeding machines that he chose to be on the outer side...

Kashif was enjoying the entire episode... Our boy is a tourer rather than a cornering junkie... and me..I was tryin to take pics of speeding machines on my camera...

Curses!! My cell is so slow that when I clicked while the bikes turning ... the bike passed zoommmmed and what came in the frame was just mere road!!!

@devil- thanks man and I second your view on Santosh. He is indeed a very skilled rider and it was great to watch him during the practice runs.

@winzee- I am still hunting for a cheap pair of racing pants with sliders. Until I find one, I have to make do with my roller blading knee protectors :P

                    @lonelyrider08- Thanks

R15's tyres are already too difficult to find man so burnouts are out of question and anyway I am a cornering junkie not a stunter. To do some real power slides around corners u need racing slicks. If you attempt sliding into corners on road spec tyres there is a good chance you'll end up having a high side.

I felt the same too. But never mind that. All in good fun. As long as you guys stick to safe cornering.

The pics look tasty! I miss the ghats!

Yeh man those are the trickiest thing to learn, lots of risk, more than in a stoppie/wheelie or anything...
Well, Lets make a combined Mumbai-Pune Cornering G2G (no racing though, i hope) in near future... What say?
