The Official Cochin Offline Meet(G2G) Thread

Guys, IMHO Cherai Beach is too crowded to take decent pics and spend time. but will go if that is finalised
BTW as my Office is upto 2pm, I will be able to reach Vytilla around 3pm only.
can anyone suggest me which route to take from there?
Talked with Sunjay and he agreed to come with me but he is 75% sure whether he will come or not. in case he couldn't please guide me
also can we take our Bikes to the beach or do we have to park on the Road side?

Two possible routes to cherai beach from vytilla are,

1.Vytilla- Edapally-Varapuzha-Paravur(kmk Jn)- cherai

2. Vytilla-Highcourt - Vallarpadam- puthuvypeen-Njarakkal-Edavanakkad-Cherai

The first route is some 3-4 km lesser than the second one but I recommend you to take the second route bcos most of the time there will be heavy traffic at edapally railway gate and the condition of the road is not so good till cheranalloor.

The directions for the 2nd route

from vytilla enter in to SA road (kadavantra, Manorama rd) and after south over bridge turn right (left side you can see Medical Trust Hospital) and enter in to MG road. Then at Jos Jn take left turn and pass by Darbar Hall Ground. Take right turn at the circle after DH ground and pass by Maharajas College, Boat jetty, Marine drive and reach Highcourt Jn. From highcourt jn go staright and take goshree Bridge route and turn right at a circle after you cover 3 bridges. Then go straight for around 20 km and reach cherai Jn, in between u will be passing some places like Malipuram, Njarakkal, Nayarambalam and Edavanakkad .
Head straight at cherai Jn, At the first curve after cherai Jn u can see a huge crowd and many bikes and cars parked at the road side. Never think that it is an accident or some thing. There is a Beverage Shop at the right side of the road. after that curve take left turn at next curve to enter the cherai beach road. go straight u will reach cherai beach..

ya u will get only 4 AA Alkaline Batteries and a 4 gb memory card with the package; Alkaline battery is not rechargable. you can click 250-300 ~ with this battery. its better to purchase rechargable NI-MH battery ( 2700 MAh is better) and charger for regular use and keep the alkaline batteries as spare.
I purchased the rechargable batteries from a shop named Alif in Penta Menaka, opp to bay pride mall.

Guys i am not well having a running nose and little body pain so wont be able to attend the g2g
i had told Prakritij that i will accompany him for the g2g from high court at 3pm since he will be late because of office work
Since i cant come will somebody be kind to ride with him at 3pm

but the road is full of mad bus drivers

Very less Participation. Only 5 riders- Swaroop,Ranjith,Praveen,Prakritij and Vaishak. I did not took part in the ride but joined them at Azhikode Beach...
