Want to share an Off-topic , yet a very serious issue with the Kerala xBhpian's..

You guys all know about the Mullaperiyar issue. We should do our part as responsible bikers by spreading awareness about this across India and to me it seems xBhp is a great platform(this is not advertising, spreading awareness remember).
I'm sure, that most of the bikers here from other states wouldn't know about this issue. We must do something now, guys. Please put forward your thoughts to this..

hey guys, we did a trip to munnar on 5th this month, if u remember it was hartal day, empty roads and no slowmoving traffic ,it was just us 5 bikes and 9 guys, all the way upto munnar.. best trip i ever had. (yep,i dont do long distance touring a lot :P )

@sanjay : we were lucky man, we got stopped by a gang of hartal supporters on the way, and they said stuff like"munnar is closed today, yall need to go back"! , but lucky for us after waiting there for 10-15 minutes they let us pass,(even then they were stopping other cars n bikes came that way). and pics, will upload tmrrw.

There is nothing gonna happen with this harthals in our country r8 na? Those political dramas wont make any change in our country. Likewise, i think, when the governments of states and central open there eyes to the Mullaperiyar issue only when we people are wiped off into Arabian Sea.

Like said in older posts in this thread, we xBhpians from kerala have to undertake mass campaigns to make aware the people of tamilnadu of the real facts. It is now the time for the riders of the country to show what they can do and how they can be helpful in creating awareness etc...

There you said it bro! I was waiting for atleast one supporter who thinks this issue needs to be discussed here on xBhp;country's largest biking portal with more than 35k members.
We should bring this issue to the attention of bikers from other states and TN especially.
Many of them had been to places like Thekkady, Kumiliy etc. Once this thing goes down, most of those bikers would have to fetch a ferry to go beyond from one part of Kerala to the other.
