Buddy, AS you know, I am very much ready for such an attempt. If u ant to cross 1000 a day, I think ride to hyderabad is the best idea............. it will be morte than 1000 kms and we can have a visit at Ramoji Rao Film City which is for sure a nice place to visit. Hope it will not leave a big hole to our pockets............

The maximum speed.......i was not trying to reach the maximum.....done the same 127 kmph.............. and hope there is some vibes in my footrest after 110 kmph........

@neil: I started at 6 in the morning from mysore. It was a slow ride till Vazhikkadavu. Reached at Vazhikkadavu @ 10.30 am...Started from there at 11 am............ reached Thrissur @ 2 pm..........had a break there for some 3.30.....reached at Moovattupuzha @ 5..........and Kottayam @ 6........ Altogether till Thrissur, it was a slow ride as i had a pillion with a big bag from bangalore in my return strech......i think, withoutt pileon i migh had done much better............

Some what like Mysore- Nilambur - 2.5 hrs; Nilambur-Thrissur- 2 hrs: Thrissur-Kottayam -2 hrs.... A total of 6.5 hrs may be enough
started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....
Planning for more dream destinations on a new ZMR

The total distance upto hyderabad is below 1100 kms. To ramojirao film city which may be set as the destination is 1165 kms away from cochin. As most of us know, staying in a city like hyderabad will make our budget very high........... So we will stop wher we reach 1000 kms and will arrrange a stay at the place.......... As the trip is still in egg, that much detail is unnecessary now. Will wait others to respond...... Want to know who re all interested in such a ride...... But my suggession is that the riders who want to come in should have to keep the pace of the group....... As we re planning to ride 1000 kms a day, none will be able to be a sweap for slow pacers......it ll be a matter of wastage of time...... Hope everyone can understand.........

So in my suggession, if we re doing it, we need experienced riders who ve atleast ridden for one time with some of us...... Newbies should not be entertained unless otherwise the reps re already known about the rider's skills.......

So my first sugession is Hyderabads......the cost of stay per person near the film city is around 600 rupees..... 1200 kms one side....... 3 days.....ie. 3 breakfasts, 3 lunchs, 3 dinners and refreshments........ So please rough out...... And we can just workout

            My mind says its possible..
Will make it an ultimate asphalt burner.
Doing all day 120 will be serious entertainment. Swas will be back in town tomorrow, will discuss with him.
I need to check out some xbhpian's profiles to find out their records(after all we should not miss the record.. leave the saddle score/bun burner guys)

Hope I can make it 150 this time

vibrations on foot rest.., leave it man...we can surely say Motul 5100 will reduce it .(Think about doing 126-127 on fz...).. Your mighty machine is bone to do 24 Hr 110 Make sure you carry engine oil

Yes you are true.. Sluggish riders cant take this biggie...

Now think about the possibility of the following:

            starts from cochin @3:00 am
            Reaches Bangalore @ 10:00 am
            Spending 1 Hr @ bangalore.
            Leaving Bangalore @ 11.00 am
            Reach Ramoji @ 7:00 pm

We need to carry lots of water and chocolates to keep pace under the sun.

            @vishnu:
Friend, its great to find some rider's adrenalin flow into your arteries.. (128 with pillion is impressive) congratz. Ride safe while speeding... Get a riding jacket and a pair of good glows.

Sure, with patience and good mental health, we can make it. I know someone is there with a record of 1234 kilometres. Dont remember who s that. Hope its one among the administrators. If you do 150 kmph, it will be another record.

I think we can reach bangalore by 7 hours. as its planning, its fine. Calculate it as 8 hours. That ll be fare. the next stretch is also worth to try. Anyway as i got the last days, Map My India's map will be assisting us to make an easy journey.

Mapmyindia gave me a good experience as a tourer . In true word i never asked anyone for a route or byroute....... It gave real distances, better roads, short lengths...... And the city coverage is too good......it just easily located a small junction in mysore where i wanted to reach for my stay...... And in return journey i simply followed the route suggested by the map. I was familiar with the nilanbur-thrissur road. I expected that map is guiding through pattambi. But it guided through other route. But for my surprise the distance was lesser by 8 kilometres. But I found out a problem....... It works according to the european standards..... It has got no U turns in the roads...... If u miss a turn on your route, the map will guide to the next junction, and will tell you to make U turn at the junction and to go back to the earlier turn..... Thats a problem....... I missed a turn and wasted fuel and timw for 20 kilometres.

Kochumvk, I have visited the profile you guided. He did a 1308 kms. I have a question at this time..... Whatz our actual aim? If its not a tourers wish..... For a riders wish we have alternatives........

If you want to ride for a length higher than 1300 kms...... I will be making anothewr suggession for sure......

I too agree that your request is too much...... +200...... I think i am not afraid for sure...... If u permit to sleep for 6 hours after the ride, i am ready to ride even for 24 hr...
