I admits your point that the bigMile attempt with 150 cc bikes is not feasible.
I was searching for the black uni in my RVM after a short burst to 131 in AC Road.

    The bad experience:
at changanachery a rider on a Karizma with no riding gears(yes, no helmet)and pllion put themselves to race with me and combustion.

Its a shoulder exercise, you will learn it if you ride a 220 for few days
Praveen should have learned it now

And generally we have a handy option in 220 to avoid this issue..
Twist the throttle, Vroooom...... Others will disappear .. then no need to worry about the silly RVM...(*)

        What about fixing fazor mirrors?

            • a real day

@lijok, kochumvk, vishnups: KAKKAKKU THANKUNJU PONKUNJ... They think its powerful, even most powerful. Just think, last month a guy from kottayam told me that his FZ has the power same as P220. I made no comments, as i know its useless. Think that guys meeting with a pulsar 200. He ll game with the bike as his own is equalant to 220. As for us, we know what machine we have, its merits and demerits. So when we have a better bike, we will case ourself atleast not to play. Hope, i had told to some of the guys from cochin about an incident last week. A guy chased me for around 20 kms on a unicorn.. He smoked(!) me thrice...!!and he overtook a bus at a sharp turn, at where he missed from coffin. He had no helmet. A cap and a glass and a headphone (might be playing some shaminamina) .. I requested to stop when we rode parallel. He did nt. I followed him, blocked him and taken the headphone, and told him to WEAR A HELMET ATLEAST. It is everywhere. And it is by them people are always against biking.

@vishnuborra: i think about the renting of bike someone staying in cochin will be doing that. You should come to Idukki if you visit Kerala. Its a must if you come by bike. I can give you chance to give a real trip info for this area. Hope we can work out it when you come here.

@manshood: its very happy to see a newbie here. Be here in the thread man. And please introduce yourself too.. . I am very happy to see another zmr owner here. Ride safe and do respect other machines and the fellow pedestrians. And we expect you for aug 15th ride.

              @all.
As you people know i have finished my 4th service at 7600 km on 49th day, ie. On 19th of july. I think my odo will go crazy. Today morning, the reading was 8215 kms. Now its 8380 kms. Its rolling like hell.... Just rode 165 kilometres today. But it was great and got a great story behind it. Hope you guys remember a guy named Ananth from chennai. He got actually very excited after seeing the all places i lead him to. So he has shown the photos to his some of friends. They got screwed up and two guys just started yesterday to Kumily. Made a call yesterday evenin. And told me that they want to visit some places in Idukki. I said them that I will come if they need. I had no plans for today and so I decided to join them.
Wolf up at 5.40 am today. (its too hard to wake up it this). Rode towards Kumily at 6.20am... The mists, cool breeze, everything was there. Rode 40 kilometres before 7.30 am. Waited just before vandiperiyar. I thought about the guys yet to meet. I know that the one coming is Steve, the one who went to Leh with Ananth. I had no idea about the 2nd man. Clicked many photos at there. Waited till 8.30, then they came. steve on his yellow Karizma and second is Tarun (tarc). Tarun's bike, i have no word. A classic 500 Royal Enfield, always a tourer's dream. Then just headed to Parunthumpara, a developing tourist place near Kuttikkanam. Then I came to know what the guys re really enjoying here. A small greenery is so worthy for them. They re ready to stop, enjoy and to have a lot of clicks. I just stood with them. Unlike the other man, there guys were relaxed. And they given enough space for me to get click and got clicked. Then after having a coffee from Kuttikkanam, i just asked them whether they re interested in off-roads. They said YES. So I guided them to one place that is almost unknown to most of the people who visit around here. Madammakkulam, a place situated inside a semi forested land and covered by heavy mountains. The place have got a water stream, water fall, rocky mountain and a great scenic view of the surrounding mountains. Rode to there on the real off road. Classic 500 just went to slush... It was a great fun. We three, pushed it up and we all got plush all over our dress... Spent 3 hours there... Went to vagamon. When I reached there, I realized that they re not surprised by the sights of Vagamon due to the hangover made by the sights already they visited. At 6 in the evenin, we reached Elappara, a town in Kuttikkanam-Munnar road after a lot of discussions they decided to stay there. I have given them enough directions on the road to Idukki and then to Munnar, we took some time for some food. And they sighed me off at 8.15 pm. Again the cool breeze given me a chance to ride like a breeze... It was a great day. Hope i met two guys with simple heart and have an urge to travel... The spirit of xbhp is so GREAT yaar...
For the first time Its the first day when my bike never touched 100 kmph even not crossed a 70 kmph... The result: Filled full tank petrol yesterday. Rode 179 kms. Filled full tank today too... I had to pay Rupees 200 today. That means 179 kms for 3.7 litre petrol. So mileage is 48 kmpl. Amazed....

Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....

              • @praveen.... you have good talent to be tour guide... Really glad to read that you enjoyed the ride, it not necessarily the distance or max speed that matters, but the ride in itself, the riders, climate.... all small small things that make a ride wonderful...

Jaymohan Chettan did it like this:
He cut the rtr RVM and welded it to the stock stem!
                    Nice result.

IMO R15's mirrors looks like shit on 220. But fazor's should be good.

But a long stem will add vibration for sure. I think thats y jaymohan chettan did such a job.

220s fairing vibration is not something that we cannot live with. After all its a bajaj..

                    @ Praveen, Swas, Roshan,

Hope you guys remember I reported some handling issues with my machine.
Today I found out that the bolts of right clip-on is very loose. as loose as you can insert a 1cm thick wedge

                    @ GOD:
Thank you for saving me so far.

                              • Sorry I missed out on the last meet at Food Circle. Had to catch my bus that night and I was JIT as always.

Nice to see the plan for the Aug 15 ride. Unfortunately I cant make it for a whole day ride but I will probably ride with you guys for a while and turn back (if I can get up that early).

Why dont you guys cut down the distance a bit? If you guys get held up anywhere (puncture / photoshoots etc) you will end up reaching pretty late. Plus you guys have to take into consideration that you are starting extremely early which means you wil be down on sleep as well.

Any pre-ride quickie ride happening this sunday ?
