A big hello to kerala Xbhpians.....

need a small little favour from you all. Me and couple of my friends are planning a ride on the last week of March from Hyderabad to Trivandrum via Bangalore and coimbatore.

Can any of you please post the route/road map from Coimbatore to Palakkad and all the way down to Trivandrum. (along with the places of interest that we can visit on the way)

please explain in detail the best possible routes/roads and road conditions from Palakkad to Trivandrum. Any help is appreciated.

Just a quick input from my side,
Coimbatore- Walayar-Palakkad- Do not enter Palakkad town, take a left from the Byepass and head straight for Trichur-Chalakudy( If you take a left from Chalakudy and head 30kms you can see Athirapally- Vazhachal waterfalls)-Angamaly( from here you have two routes, take left and go via Perumbavoor, Muvattupuzha if you dont want to touch Cochin, else head straight)-Cochin( You can visit Fort Kochi, Cherai, Kumbalangi etc).
From Cochin if you have time to spare you have to head to Munnar(120 kms from Cochin but worth every km!). Else you can take the Nh byepass and head to Trivandrum- En route you can make stops at Thenmala and Varkala if you prefer.
