Thanks a lot buddy. This is just what I was looking for.Originally posted by praveenmemala View PostOk. Fine. So you have got a better plan. And I think its the best one that you can plan for two days. Is kozhikode is a must for you to visit... Or taken the place to turn to wayanad. If it is so, ok no problem. Its a town good place worth visit. Thats all. And the road from there to wayanad is awesome too...
And if you have taken that place just as a turning point, reconsider it by turning from Thaliparamba, a town 21 kms before Kannur. Advantage here is that you can reach Mananthavadi (one of the three major towns in Wayanad near where most of the places worth watch are located) by riding 99 kms. If you take the other route you ll reach the place by riding 200 kms only.
By taking the kozhikode stretch you can have these places to visit.
1. Muzhuppilangad drive in beach
2. Thalassery fort
3. Kannur fort
4. Thamarassery hill way...
Both stretches re good in terms of tarmac...
We dont have to Kozhikode. However, I have two concerns,
1. Does the rout eyou suggested cover Fort Bekal?
2. Will we get adequate fuel stations on this route?

Ok buddy. if kozhikode is not a must, its fine.Originally posted by Hyperion View PostThanks a lot buddy. This is just what I was looking for.

2. Will we get adequate fuel stations on this route?
1. The route from Manglore will be like this
Manglore>Kasargod>Bakel>Thaliparamba>Mananthavadi
Kasargod to Bakel - 12 kms. So bakel is in between Kasargod and Thaliparamba. Its very close to the main road and easily reachable.
3. In the first stretch,ie. Kasargod to Thaliparamba (74 kms) there re enough fuel stations. The next 99 kms(ie. Thaliparaba- Mananthavadi stretch) may not have enoug fuel station. So fillup your tank at Kasargod or anywhere before or at Thaliparamba. Mananthavadi also have fuel stations. So I think there s nothing much to worry.
If you have much queries, please keep it posted here. If you inform your queries earlier, can gather infos which I haven't with me
@neil & kochmvk: how about making it a profession? Hehe.........started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....
Planning for more dream destinations on a new ZMR

Hello guys,
I am moving out of Trivandrum and getting back to my hometown of Cochin! We are shifting our offices to Manorama Jn. this week.....
Looking forward to meet all you guys over the next g2g in Kochi!
PS: Does anyone have a review of Avenger 220 from your friends? I was looking to replace my Hunk with it....the main attraction being the fact that Bajaj told me that they will take my 3 yr old Hunk for 35-40k on exchange to the Hunk!

when you coming down to cochin ? will catch up .will be here for quite some time.
btw: 35-40 seems good . saves a lot of time which would otherwise be spent on finding a guy you can sell it of at a higher rate
