Good to know youre safe. Lucky that it happened to a seasoned rider like you who wont panic in such a situation. Had it been some guy new to bikes they wouldve panicked and lost control immediately and fallen. Reminds me of this chap from Blore on the Yercaud ride who went smack bang into a dog while part of the hyper speed group. His fairing took a beating & radiator also was slowly leaking. Plus his footpeg was bent. Just make sure to check that the mechanicals arent affected.

I considered it that way. When I fell down from my p150 for 1st time i was totally upset. But one of my friend advised me that If the bike made no hurt on our body, we should not be crying........So i learned it later through several such incidents. So as most of the people in our group, I am very much used to it.

Heard about the acc ... glad ur OK to ur bike - Get well soon ... also are u thinking of taking off the fairing all together . check if the R15 fairing will fit . u'll decrease weight nd increase aerodynamics , although im not sure if it will fit ..

@silentknight: what renjith told is somewhat true. I ll not be trying other fairings. From the review thread of ZMR, I understood that removing the fairing itself will let the malfunctioning sensor start blinking. Heard that it got a fairing sensor. So i ll be checking it tomorrow
