We also missed meeting you Praveen! We had an amazing time in Kerala, got stunned with the breathtakers at Munnar and was gifted with the hospitality of the wonderful people of Kerala at Thrissur and Cochin.Originally posted by praveenmemala View PostOh...Kochu told me that a guy with this nickname was with john. I did not recognise you. But now I think I noticed your signature very earlier.
Hope you people had a very great time in kerala. And eagerly waiting for the uploads from John and you. Found you on facebook and learned that you re also from WB. Your state is one of my dream destination to which I would like to have a visit for more than one week..,
Hope you people will be visiting Kerala again...still I feel that I have missed two wonderful guys due to my unluck...
Great to know that you are interested in WB! There isnt too much to ride given the bad roads there, but you need to start with the Sunderbans at the extreme south and head to the himalayas(Darjeeling, Kurseong) to get a wholesome feel of WB.
I am completely in love with the food and the people of Kerala, so dont worry anytime I get leaves from office, I would sneak into God's Own Country
I loved the rain riding through Alappuzha,Kollam,TVM and Kovalam, the roads weren't the best on earth, still manageable.Originally posted by Swas View Post
Thanks Arni, btw how was ur ride?
I thought they would ask us to join them in their jeep, after the way we were clicking in restricted areas!Originally posted by RanjithMN View PostYeah but no big deal...they just asked us not to photograph or gather around certain areas. Thanks,
Arni

Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn't do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover- Mark Twain

My interest in WB is not for ride alone. To visit some parts of the WB(I know its geographically in an unimaginable structure) due to some other concerns........I wanted to have a look at the rural life and society in WB. It may be due to some political and personal concerns. I have visited University of Culcutta during my college days........(even to Sonagachi to make an understanding of the so called area in culcutta, not for anything else). In 2008, I had a short visit to Culcutta (howda bridge, centre of Missionaries of charity) and to Darjeeling when I made a trip to North Eastern States and Bhutan. Now my plans is a trip to the rural WB.......... I dont know whether by bike or any other means........But I ll be doing it.........
BTW guys, hope you all came to know that In was riding an RX 135 for the last 2 weeks. It was all a fun game. I was not able to go for long tours as like most of us who re used with the soft 4 stroke machines even if some were riding those in early days, me too cant bear the sound and vibes for a long time. But the thdree days when I went to office by riding 120 kms a day on rx135 was awesome. Guys with Unicorn and Pulsar (not 220) makes good revvings when we approch them. But when I open the throttle above 70 kmph, the roaaaaaaaaaaaaring sound starts........they get frightened (And imagine I am riding with Cross, Cramsters.....they might have thought me as an ex rally rider...hehe...)........But if they had chased me, I might have cut off my throttle..........
By this evening I took back my Classic Pulsar....chain and break liner replaced........Clutch adjusted to my need.........and some simple works of my mechanic(need4tourque's and my town's best)....I think it got a real rebirth............In my opinion, those classic pulsars are only fit for the moto DEFINITELY MALE....it blasts like a real tiger.......I am enjoying the ride.......It has got some problems with the fork which I ll be rectifying by the next week............. Tested it for high speed today...but for my surprise it recorded a 102 kmph in speedo...........I think its not highest or a record.......But when its a 6 year old machine which already completed 1,95,000 kms, its great.........right???
