Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handle bars to the seat.

Hello everyone,
A plan to cover all of South India in the next 6 months every weekend....The trips will be in a radius of about 10-13 hours from Cochin. We will have about 26 weeks...that will mean about 26 destinations or more depending on how many destinations we cover in a weekend.
So, who is game for the challenge?

@Anand: which s your new bike? Avenger?
@All: Hi guys, i missed two get togethers . I feel sorry for that. But all happened as I dont have my bike on these days.
After the incident on 19th August I kept my bike under my garage cover for the last 23 days. It was resting(may be rusting too!!!???). I gave it some quick starts on these days. Thats all. I had some thoughts to take it out for the last two weeks. I had some weird thoughts to remove the fairings and then ride. But after getting some valuable directions from my fellow xbhpians i left the idea. After long thought and planning yesterday, I took my ZMR on 11th out of my garage and rode out of my native place without letting any jealousy people know about the cracks. Went to my best friends home and inspected everything. Removed the fairing and all. But it looked bad with the headlight alone unlike the ZMA R. Installed everything back and given it to my friend for safe custody and took his p200 to reach home. I had a wedding to be attended at thodupuzha. My plan was to take my back 20th morning and to go there. As normal my friend washed and polished my bike in the early morning itself(On 10th I left my p150 at his home. He washed it too for free of cost. Nice friend. right?). I took it and went to thodupuzha. Drove in all terrains. Took it for a battle too... Nothing happened. The fairings did not made any sound except at the time my bike fell in a pothole.

Came back to mundakayam. And then went to Kottayam in the latenight.Took 41 minutes to cover 42.8 kms. Thought its the best I'd get on this road. Unlike other NHs its a zigzag NH. But ,inn the return stretch, i was riding like crazy. The road was deserted. So there was a chance for a game. Took 38 minutes only to cover 42.8 kms... Its the best timing I ever got in this road. And now I ask myself, Why I shoul I Keep this beast in my garage anymore?

So an ZMR with broken fairing ll be on road from today.....hehe..........Last edited by praveenmemala; 09-13-2010, 12:04 PM.started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
