        You will definitely get a lot of good paint schemes from the net. This is the best time to do it actually. Ive been planning on a paint scheme for my P150. For the last 5 years ......

            I did'nt mean that Fz is a bad bike,What I said is that: fz is able to do 126 so 110 is no big deal for his bike.

            Harsh at 120 km/Hr !!! My machine is not that harsh at 120(running on Motul 5100 now). During our last trip We checked it... Machine was perfectly alright after 40Hrs of heavy ride...
            I don think 120 is stressed on a machine which does a 100 at 6200 rpm and red line at 10000 rpm.120 is not big speed man, Actually we will not be able to sustain 120 for 24 Hrs. In any way we will be forced to reduce sped or stop..

            Dont worry your machine is not p150 but a 220

              Yes man,just asked my query,as the p220 is a short stroke high revving engine it emits more heat than zma,and it is not relaxed one as zma

              Btw i dont mean harsher@120,but riding continuously on 120 may make engine harsher

              How is motul 5100?i am also thinking to shift to motul on next service,which is more VFM? motul 5100 or 300v?

                after the last ride to yercaud and doing 100+ most of the time my engine's become sooo freaking smooth...
                (my 100+ means 120 or more )

                      @Ranjith it is good to change the colour in the RC Book also as it is written as "Yellow Streak", and if you didn't change it's not a big problem too. when the cops inspect the RC Book and dosen't find the same colour(or almost the type) them may charge for it... beacause i had planned to do a paint job on my ex-RX 100 which was Black to a yellow or white. at that period a cop caught me because of the loud exhaust(which i removed the cell of the RX100 stock flute) and he inspected my RC Book and checked the colour, fortunately there was no colour specified in my RC Book, i jumped from there...
                      Also i think there may be some issues when you try to sell your bike(may be)...

                        In my experience, Karizma/ZMR is a pure tourer and its power curve says that its more strong at low and mid region. But The 220 dtsis tall 5th is meant for prolonged faster cruising, Max power is achieved at 8500 rpm and max torque at 7000rpm. IMO p220 starts to wake post 80 kmph..

                        These suggests this machine is produced to ride hard.

                        However we can clearly say that p220 is not a proper tourer or sport/track tool.
                        Its an all-rounder.
                        What about riding a short stroke rtr 180 for 40+ Hrs in 48 Hrs(Lijo did it last time, I think no problem with his machine)


                        I think Praveen can shed some light on this.

                              First of all, i feel pity for the p220 owners who re discussing about the machines in this g2g thread. I understand the mindset of a premium bike owner. Its better if you people go for an up to down reading of your bikes discussion page. It may give a clear idea for you about the thing you re holding in between your legs. (i mean, thats how i got a clean idea of my zmr. None detailed me about the bike at delivery as it was unneeded for me for sure. And thats why the thread of zmr is that much alive still)

                              In my opinion the pulsar class is definitely very special for its rough power it gives. If a p150 can cross 100 kmph without heavy stress, why should we bother about p220 crossing or maintaining 120? Otherwise the increase of 70 cc and a 7 bhp (may be incorrect) ll surely be waste....
                              So my request...
                              Just rip...rip...and rip. Otherwise go for a p180... (i was and is pulserated... But some preferences made me to chose zmr. And i still believe, I completed the last 3 day trip with ease due to the tourer class quality my bike provides)

                              And we ll try the comparo in next ride...

                              @kochumvk: due to the pulsar fever you have not given a follow up on the matter we re discussing about. As vishnu has pointed there is one who have crossed 1600 km a day. So think about the preference. To break the record or just a long trip?

                                My FZ red lines at roughly 130 km/h..i cant see P220 getting stressed at 120 even if its for a longer duration.
