@ravi anna - anna some new problem with my bike, the speedometer reset's @ its own wish as if it has a brain of its own and the timer on the meter, though adjusted, either runs fast/slow. I also have been using shell lately and was happy but now though i have around 10 liters of fuel, my bike is shutting off after a jerk as if there is no fuel. What might be the probelm anna???

There may be problem with the battery and its contacts. Please take the bike to Exide service station and clean the battery electrodes and check the charging of the battery. Most probably the problem will be resolved.

Regarding the bike being shut off, the problem may be due to bad tuning.

@satish - thnx a lot anna, will meet him this weekend @ g2g and will get teh bike don later, thoda busy @ office. My shifts have changed and i got a tuesday/wednesday off so willl get ample of time to spend with my bike, but the worst part is no more G2G for me till next 1 and half months after this Sunday.
