nope for my pee 200. I want to remove the centre stand of my bike, its scraping at almost all the corners in city with even suspension settings on hard setting.

Remove ur centre stand and carry that swingarm stand where ever u go?

Dig the 220 thread. On of the owner fixed the problem with a small alteration to the stand!

BTW i'd rather cornor on a splendor than cornoring on ur PEE200. It woobles like a snake midway through a cornor anna......i got soo scared while taking the punjagutta flyover cornor on ur bike

Why fear, you can still fly if some thing goes wrong.

Hi All

Good Morning guys I am back again.

I think I would only be able to see you guys on 21st. 14th morning I have a g2g with my cycling group and then also on the 21st we are planning a cycling meet at the GMR, preparing for the next months duathlon. I told them I am in but it sounds scary. You know 20kms on the bicycle(not a tough one) but the catch is the 7kms of running involved and I havent ran in a while.

Anyone in here who can give me some tips to up the stamina soon. I still have a months time.

I most likely will stay there after the practise and wait for the motors to come.

Btw I met this old xbhp member here in my new office and would be joining us for the 21st G2G.

Yesterday I was getting some gas the Shell bunk on the way to Gachibowli and behind me came a black R1. While I paid the bill, the R1 left and I had a colleague as a pillion. The R1 left pretty fast and my colleague was telling that he must have been above 80kmph while he shifted into 3rd and I was telling him that these bikes can easily go upto 100kmph in the 1st great itself. KRISS - was I right?

We can get the Stand raised up so that it doesn't scrape the road in Corners.
U need not remove it.
It'll hardly costs 100 Bucks & an hour or so for the Modification.
Let me know when U come here - we'll get it done in any welding shop.

There are 2 Types of Modifications for the Stand scraping Issue.
Both Lift it up.
Both are similar Jobs too.
Both needs a very small welding Job Done.
Both will cost only for the welding & then a small Black paint tin, brush.
Both I saw in the forums.
1 in xBhp & 1 in Orkut.

@all: Everybody try to notice a spot where we can have a G2G on for practising corners.

PS: I'm in love with the corner coming out from banjara hills road no 12 which goes towards taj krishna hotel via city center(the corner us jsut in from of city center).

Also in love with the khairatabad flyover corner while coming either from somajiguda or panjagutta.

Yeah, Pulsars do have that problem of mainstand. Anyways, I think you know very well about the paddock stand-you cannot carry it around, only use it at your home. I guess you can manage during the day time with the side stand. If you are interested, you can have mine for a nominal amount say Rs.500 or so. I am not using it as I have got the mainstand installed onto my bike.

@All: Yes, the Punjagutta Flyover is the best for practicing cornering&so is a road leading to Gachibowli from Hi-Tec City. Vibhanshu&I practice on this atleast once a week!

not totally satisfied with ur ans bro ... when i was doin connering on sagars bike [we all know what condition was it] i did it abouve100+ and i felt it rock steady // it didnt bend like RTR but i can say that my whole body was hanging down wile the bike was still rock steady

The R1 left pretty fast and my colleague was telling that he must have been above 80kmph while he shifted into 3rd and I was telling him that these bikes can easily go upto 100kmph in the 1st great itself. KRISS - was I right?

stamina .. join a gym and start walking then slowly running .. thats the best for stamina /// 1 month is more than enough

Yes bro, mainstand is available as additional fitment for R15, for about Rs.780 or so, including all small items. KP&I have got it on our bikes&it doesn't reduce the ground clearance or scrape while cornering.

One day ride to Pochampad Dam&Kuntala Waterfalls, July 1st week

@All: What is the plan for this weekend? I am mostly out(family time), cannot say till Saturday.

However, since the drag is on 21st&I'm out of town this monthend, I have planned a ride for July 1st week to Pochampad Dam&Kuntala Waterfalls.
It will be about 500kms.total&we have about 7 riders (mostly xBhp guys) confirmed. One day ride.
Hope this gives everyone a good long time to plan&make it, as July is the best time for these kind of places.

@kriss - anna try the flyover tht connects from Begumpet ITC - Banjara hills (Chutneys). While getting off from banjara hills to begumpeet, sometimes u get the feeling of a nice hair pin bend

No Fun on it. Its just like another normal corner.

The complete fun would be... when a corner is in a shape of L or U . Or closely to that. Something like angle of 90 degrees or even lesser than that.

You were Right. Perfectly almost all litre class bikes can carry a speed of close to 150 or more on first gear...

I suggest... panjagutta flyover is not good for practising corners.
Since its a flyover, and it contains many pillars beneath it. If you observe closely, there is a 1-2 inch gap between the road, where exactly the pillar stands, and on top it, there is another 2 inches of metal seperating the slab(road) from both the sides.

Imagine taking a corner there at 100+, just where you exit the corner... there would be this 4 iches of metal, everytime i feel when i cross it, what if my bike slips on this metal ?? What if my front looses traction rather rear ?? I'll straightly land in the police station of panjagutta if i'm coming from begumpet.

I recommend....take that corner as a normal corner. Panjagutta flyover is too dangerous to practise cornering at any given time.

And SBK doing 100kmph in 1st gear is ture. I read some where in R1 forums that R1 does 160kmph in 1st gear. Not sure about Bhoosa
