I guess Belum Caves would be too hectic, and maybe be impossible to do it in a day. Just go to Uravakallu and enjoy the rock formation and ride back.

I am buying a ZMR today, delivery is tomorrow...

I am going to kurnool on sunday morning to finish the run-in as I am taking it to Vellore on wednesday ..

I am just going to kurnool, having breakfast, and coming back..

I just wanted to say that it is going to be damn hot right, so I plan on coming back by 1-1:30 max .. spending the whole afternoon there might be really tiresome ..

Run-in on highways? you need to be very careful and vary the rpms sequentially. Constant RPMs will cause Glazing of the engine parts. Hope you know this.

+1....running in on highways is a big no for me (personal opinion)

I suggest u do what i did.... carry an oil tin, find out ur engine oil grade, buy one liter, ride to Kurnool, let the engine cool down, then change the oil and ride back. V basically do this when v do the hard run in method. Rip, change oil at 200-250kms, rip and then service.

*just a suggestion, did this to my honda*

Hard run in all the way. to be honest the run in happens arouns the first 40 - 50 kms. use the entire rev range and rip during this period. drain the oil at around 50 kms on odo, shift to mineral oil of the appropriate grade, first service jump to Fully synthetic. i been doing that on all the bikes i owned so far and its been serving me good

Do not push for Belum Caves. Just go to Oruvakallu, explore there, and then come back. If its Belum Caves, you guys would just go there, and then return back. No exploring.

hai everyone..

me and abhinav did 2 days ride(hyd-ban-mysore-ban-hyd) ..ride is simply superb....banglore traffic sucks(no reasons for kms of traffic jams).....ninjas proved what they are.......waiting for a detailed log !!!!! abhinav are u listening???

p.s: @vinu u are right we regretted for taking bikes into baglore traffic and didnt expect jams at 6:30 in the morning....

yes harsha! and i expect you to contribute as well! but does our short trip warrant a log?? i mean to say, there are logs usually for much longer rides!
