Hi all,
Today I had a taste of one famous hyderabadi thing... accidents :P
Was going along near anand theatre when out of nowhere come these two guys crossing the road on a busy time. These guys are 5 feet from my bike and signal me to stop by showing their hand! I tried to go by them but as i was going to pass them they moved and my hadlebar came into contact with one of them. My bike slipped, i fell down, rolled over and an auto passed just by my head. Woah! Nearly died, was saved by my trusty helmet!!! My hands and knees are badly scratched, my entire body hurts,My bike is all screwed up and the best part is that i am unable to sit up to watch the match! And those two guys ram away! What a way to enjoy a weekend
Be what you are, not what you want others to perceive you to be.

Last weekend i:e thursday went on a ride with my frnd on his newly acquired CBR600RR. While the pillion seating isn't anywhere near comfortable, we did like 150+kms and I rode it for like 25-30kms, not stretching but just getting a hang of it(did upto 120kmph). was fun, at times while I was pillion, we crossed 130kmph and there were atleast 2 cogs still left and more than half of the accelerator pending
its a bit too hard to resist the twist of the right wrist.
We plan to ride safely and don't have any plans to push further but it is just giving the hints of the machines capabilities. Amazing ride it was, my second such one, the earlier being with Haroon bhai on his R1200GS.
Less than a month now b4 my vacation begins and really looking forward to get back on my old bikes once again and join you guys for a cpl of rides.
@bobby - omg - sorry to hear about the accident but happy to know that the helmet served its purpose and thank god no fractures etc. The scrathes and bruises will fade with time and I pray that such a thing doesnt happens with any of us again. Wish you a quick recovery and the bike.... that can be fixed anytime - are the damages major? I hope not.Last edited by yaser_kb100; 04-02-2011, 05:33 PM.

@bobby
Sorry to hear about the accident. That place is notorious for such idiotic pedestrians. Had 2 close calls there in the past! Luckly both the times i managed to bring the bike to a halt and top of it, there was enough gap between me and the vehicles behind!
Wish you a speedy recovery!07 HH Zma

Completely agree. I travel opn that road almost every day (Sainikpuri - sumwhr arnd j hills /madhapur) nd d pedestrian issue at dat spot is really horrible. Its like an accident is waitng to happen there types.Originally posted by onlinesatish View Post

Back from the trip..Its awsome and "HOT" Places covered Kurnool,Yaganti,Mahanandi, Dornala, Srisailam...
The strech from Atmakur-Dornala-Srisailam is superb its GHAT+Dense Forest+no vehicle for 40mins from either side, The road is not great but its ok for 2wheels..
Srisailam to Hyderabad new tarmac laid its superb (did this in 3.15hrs)All the wise men of the world are called wise only after they spoke their mind, so dont keep the ideas to yourselves!
