@Rakesh... try to get LS2 from Bangalore... I got my LS2 Phobia for 3K almost 8 months back. Adventure on the rocks was quoting more than 4K for the same lid. Just check the size.

Did a nice 290kms ride on sunday. myself and shashank! Hyd-Narsingi(medak)-ramayanpet-toopran-Hyd. For the 1st time i my life i was riding pillion for the complete ride

Main purpose of this ride was to meet our old pal. Mr.Gypsy Binde, shashank's German Shepherd.

Good! BTW my rear alloy and shocks are bent! may be due to the fall, so got them replaced..

@ OnlineSatish: After 1 month without bike I felt like doing something with it so done this ride..

hey guys m a hydi ....ummm i have a FZ from the past two years...and m plannin to go for a long journey (ah well not so long jus 160 kms one way dn bk the next day)n yea il b going alone...

i have enough riding experience on highways....cz i hv been to Karnataka on zMa twice

so i wanted to ask shall i go fr it or not? suggestions are most welcome

did my first "solo" long ride today, been to srisailam saw the temple ,dam and while returning i went to maheela teertha water falls and reacehd hyderabad...roads are good but few sudden speed breakers(my front shocks are giving trouble now) started at 6 in the morning from lb nagar and reached srisailam temple by 9 o clock started from there by 10 and on the route went to water falls(20 kms without off- road) and reached hyd by 1:30

trip distance:468 kms

Where can i find helmets for reasonable prices in hyderabad? I have got a budget extendable upto 3K. Want a nice color scheme (personally like the italian flavors) But still any street helmets with nice graphics and with/without chromed visor may work for me. Kindly advice.

Over here there are good Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, HD, Kawasaki showrooms with accessories etc. Let me know if someone needs anything.

Have seen gloves, jackets, helmets etc. The helmets I liked, were starting from approx 7.5K and above. The Arai ones starting from like 20+K. While I have weight restrictions, I can manage a few small things.

I regularly order stuff frm overseas but only if i get to ee the pictures, sizing etc. Just received my canon S95 frm US waitng fr my new Jacket, cousin is carrying it along.

What's the difference between Motocross and Street helmets? Just the look or much more?

Both are made for its own purposes as the name suggests. rest is upto u. B safe and wear a full face helmet.

Dont know about any1 witha confirmed booking up here but know a handfull from Hyd. Have seen the bike in flesh last week. So, my guess is the wait wont be too long

I just got back from my Chennai trip. Was at the MMSC race track again and two gruelling days of riding on the track for 8 hours each day. The heat was literally unbearable and might have put in close to 100 odd laps both the days. Thanks to Yamha India for the bike with the performance kits and the Gp rider from Japan for all the training and support. Target was Riding Clinic and it did prove to be awsomeee. Leather suit, boots, bikes and most of the exp were sponsored.

Managed to Finish 5 out of 15 riders on day1 then 6 out of 15 -- Group A
9 out of 30 (after qualifying 17 on the grid, thnx to couple of rider errors and a messed up gear lever ) -- Group A and Group B riders combined.
