hey guys,

I will be shifting to hyderabad in a week or two and will be bringing my FZ along... it is rajasthan registered and has a bixenon HID withou projectors....

What i want to know is the attitude of the police guards towards out of state vehicles and towards HID??

I wear riding gear all the time so the helmet rule wont be a problem....

Not sure about the out of state number plate but I think it will be a prob, not as u have it mumbai or karnataka but lil. My cousin is using her KA reg activa since 2 years and no prob till date from the cops side.

Regarding the HID thing, No issues, Nobody ever stopped me or my friends when riding/driving with HIDs so it should be fine.

Why dont you take a NOC and go in a legal way?

In which area are you going to stay?

actually I am coming to hyderabad for a training in Infosys at the gachibowli campus and will be staying there for 2-3 months now the problem with NOC is that it is made in the name of a particular state where the bike will be going to and if I have to leave hyderabad after 3 months then I will have to go back to rajasthan surrender that NOC and then get another one made for the next state I am going to.....

Forget NOC, No big deal if its only for 3 months. And BTW, My work plce is also at gachibowli, Near infosys. Gimme a buzz if you need any help.

Just for 3 months, don't even bother about NOC. You will be good to go with Hyd cops

Pearl Yamaha Kukatpally, Hyderabad is organizing free servicing camp on 10th,11th and 12th of May. I know its a bit late but one more day to go.

They do pretty much nothing at these camps. If anything they would pretty much find faults which does not exist and you would end up paying for parts which was not needed to replace on the first place.

He has given a special invite to all Hyd Xbhp members to attend the launch day and I am sure it would be a good gathering across all active biking forums.
