Today I visited the orphanage to inform them about our proposed visit which surprisingly they were unaware of. I told them about our previous visit last year and Mr. Peter quickly recalled the bikers group. This time too most of the children have gone to their native place for spending their vacations. Only 15 to 20 kids have stayed back. I guess this time, we will out number them.
The current head count in the orphanage is 48 girls and 30 boys. I asked them for some specific requirements if any. Mr. Peter after thinking asked for footwear stands to keep the kid's footwear. Currently they are using a wooden shelf to keep their footwear but its in bad condition and does not help much in rains. They want some steel type footwear holder which will last long and be sturdy enough. I said I cannot promise anything but will surely spread the word. So tomorrow 11am the event starts at the orphanage itself. Be there on time and enjoy the special moments with those lively kids !
