I would be taking part in Mumbai - HSBC presents the India BirdRaces which is scheduled on 27th Feb, 2011 (Sunday) .... the registrations are closed but if you want to join as an enthusiast / explorer do call me (no. in ICE sheet, link on page 1 of this thread) !

EDIT: Some suggestions regarding sharing of riding gears

We all need to come out with some easy mechanism for sharing our riding gears to the needy ones. To start with, we can have an assorted list of gears which one is willing to share with his peers and also his location.

Also its noted that many new riders are asking for gears and using the borrowed gears repeatedly and not opting to buy new ones for their own. This is not a good practice. The borrowed gears have to be passed to the newbies who are participating for first time and want to experience geared group riding. Hence I request all of them to please buy those if you are willing to be more regular on upcoming G2Gs and rides. Some guidelines on this should be laid down to avoid repeated borrowing. I may also suggest renting out your gears (Like Rs. 50 for gloves+knee+elbow guards and Rs. 100 for the jacket a day) as a step in above direction.

These are only suggestions and could be debated till a amiable solution is reached. Please take them positively !

Overnight G2G @ Pawna Dam

Sorry for the short notice..... but we have planned a small overnight g2g at Pawna dam today, i.e. 26th Feb. 2011. (saturday night).

We don't have any provisions for tents or any other such thing so please don't bring tents.... :P
If you are willing to join then make sure that you bring your own bedsheets and all that you require to sleep under the open sky.
