Hmmm... Cosgeo!
I thought it'd be better not to discuss it directly on the forums. Rather to discuss it in sum Dhaba g2g & share the experience. Anyways thats Cos fer you...

well.. its good that u r fine....Originally posted by cosgeo99 View PostThx everyone for your support & wishes for makin this ride a successful. This was my first log ride widout anup or nyother highly experienced person around to take decisions & guide the group. But then to we enjoyed the ride throughly.
There was a small incident that occured yesterday night while we were returning. I met wid a small accident. It was around 3.00am near virar. I was very tired even after regular breaks & sleepin 15 -20min regularly. I slept while riddin & straight went into a ditch & bumped on a rock. Luckily nothin much wrong wid me but the bike was damaged. I was ridddin Shiva's Karizma. I didnt want to post this on the forum but had to share this wid u guys. Dont push yourself tooo hard know your limits. This accident has shaken me badly. There was nothin I could do here wen this occured, I only realised tht I had crashed after my head banged on the rock, luckily wizee saw we goin from right to left on the road on his rvm & he stopped. We were travellin at around 30-40 kms as we all were very tired. We had had not slept properly for more than 40hrs tht from saturday morning to monday morning, this was due to some 12hr delay due to problems wid the bike. As we had to reach ASAP I pushed my body to much & we knw the result.
Have heard many time of accident where drivers sleep and accidents occur. This could be worst but luck & for all your wishes im at my home & posting this. Jst wanted to tell everyone if u feel sleepy even wen ur gettin back from office dont continue ridddin. Roads & sleep dont go hand in hand. Also one more thing, I broke shivas heart. Really very very sorry for tht bro.
Leason learnt.
One more route sucessfuly covered.

^^^Well yeh! these are a bit tiring, but we enjoy it
.
The thing that went wrong is that ke we left Abu by 10 Pm (3rd May) after roaming whole day under the Sun, even though a few were not ready to. Later at 3 AM Shiva's tyre punctured in the midst of a forest. We had then jst travelled 120 kms only. It took us more than hour to track down the puncture wala, he refused to cum with us n told to bring the bike there. So we had to drag the bike by hand for some 5-6 kms. dat took us another half an hour or so. Then we were so tired that I went off on a bench n so did Shiva n Cos. it took 2 hours for puncture wala to fix it. We left the place at 8:00 AM.
An hour later Winzee's P150 was suspected to be punctred, but guess wat it was not, but there was an Oil leak, dat again chew-up more than an hour. Then in the late afternoon, we encountered really bad Sun (45+*c
) on gujrat wala part n we started taking breaks evry 20-25 kms. We were literally drinking a litre evry hour to keep ourselvs alive. Then we took a major break at 4 Pm for say 2 hours. Then later in the evening I took control of the Cos's bike n we started zooming as we were still 300 kms. away from Mumbai. & early in the morning me n shiva (on Cos's Uni) reached Fountain hotel(mumbai). my cells validity was ovr dat night only
n Shiva had forgottn his cell in his tank bag. We tracked down them an hour or 2 later to found that Cos crashed, it was7 AM of 5th MAY.
The 800+kms. & 48+ hours of continious riding showed the effect
.

But it was a good decision to skip it dude.. you wud hav got dead tired after roaming in that intense heat.. some other time brother..Originally posted by cosgeo99 View PostYaaa ketan, there is a wild life sanctuary there Trevor's Tank . We were advised by the guide outside the sanctuary that it would takes us more than 5-6 hrs to roam inside & at it was very hot in the day there were very less chances of spottin ny animals. It was very tempting but due to lack of time we decided not to go there.
Take care!Ketan Nikharge.
