I hope u guys didn't have any trouble at khopoli...

Heard there was a very bad accident involving a container and a rick.. killing all the 5 passengers of rick.. There was a spontaneous rasta roko on the highway for quite some time. People damaged some vehicles passing by...

Hope all the xMen are safe home using the highway today..

Khopoli doesn't fall betwen mumbai-m'baleshwar... heard it was too bad 26 more trucks were damaged in the rasta roko thingy... anyways thanks for asking about our safety... as it is our ride was canceled because of me as i had a severe back ache and i dint wanted it to worsen by going for the ride.

so since no one pickin initiatinve.... this sunday...7th june lets have a dhaba g2g...... 6th saturday im havin some plans........ sunday sounds a lot better..... but whatever it is.... lets plan out..

invitation...goes to all.... n im savin my ass by callin marcus first...now now ....ppl decide...

@joey.... had a plan to shoot a docu since a long time.... dhaba g2g pe we'll discuss it out...lots of others goood things in my mind too

Khopoli doesn't fall between Mumbai-Mahabaleshwar???????? As far as I remember one has to go to Mahabi via Pune only and to go to Pune one has to go through Khopoli...I mean if m not mistaken then only..

Other route is by Goa highway from Poladpur.. in this case no issues of Khopoli...

Please inmprove my knowledge sir..

Hi fellas..

Many plans are being built up and being cancelled... No plans from my side though.. Lotsa kharcha to be done(ABS for bike..jacket..shoes-not the riding ones though) and also overload of rides in this month of May.. Heat kum hone ka naam nahi le rahi..

whatever it is..my next ride is definitely gonna be Deravan near chiplun. It's gonna be a one day ride.. so not much kharcha.. Also am planning to visit an ancient temple called as kasba sangameshwar near sangameshwar. Destination is just a bahana..asli reason is to enjoy Kashedi and parshuram ghats..

Here's a bit of info and a few pics of the place...

"On the national highway near Chiplun near the village savarde there is a place called Deravan. In the recent years , this Shivshrushti on the shivsmarath gad. These sculptures are created by the very dedicated artist Ganesh Parkar.These are related to the whole life of Shivaji Mahraj.
These sculptures are very lively. It seems that the mavalas are standing in front of us.
For this creation the artist spend his valuable 15yrs and 1 crore Rupees were spend . On the entrance the mavalas riding on the horses and two giant elephants welcome us after entering inside there is a ststue of Shivaji Maharaj riding on horse. This statue is so lively that we feel this horse will jump and go away.
This statues Saint Namdev,Saint Tukaram ,Gomata, naming ceremony of Shivrai, then the scene of oath of Rohideshwar, discomfiture of Shahistekhan ,assassination of Afzal Khan, Baji prabhu and the memorable battle of Pavankhind(Ghodkhind) Jijamata pointing at Konkana fort and lastly Shivarajyaabhishek ceremony i.e. Shivaji coronation ceremony.
To get the entry to see inside this miracle everyone has to wear a proper Indian Dress only.Because this is not just an Exhibition but a Sanskar Kendra ,so mind it."

yess a beautiful place...nice roads...we did cross it on our ganpatipule trip..

try to squeeze in marleshwar visit alongwith sangameshwar..but don't know possible in one day or not...

Thanx for the suggestion man.. I have been to all these places..Marleshwar..Dervan.. Still can't forget that green snake in water at marleshwar..scared the crap outa me that time.. I was a kid then..

It's not in short time sir.. I am not going there now.. not atleast for coming 2-3 weeks.. It's just I posted it cause this may b my first ride after this long break..Dunno when though.. Certainly not in coming 2-3 weeks.

and anyway for me..it's never enough to ride on NH17.. You ask me ride kashedi every consecutive weekend and am game for it..

I sure want to make it! After all, you are calling me first! I just have to get out from my house and get my bike back from Anup. I am thinking of visiting him tomorrow. I think he'll accompany us too. I just hope his bike is up and running. Last I heard it was a tad out of shape, but he says it's gonna be okay...
