It's a hill station...with nice scenary in rainy season...hotels...mtdc resorts ...the usual stuff is also there...& yaa....its a big fort...google more to find info

ofcourse spectating...

race tickets are pretty cheap... RM80.. return airfare should be approx 20k.. rehna 3k.. wahan se Singapore train pe cos nuthin much to do in Malaysia, that ticket also cheap.

anyways will let you guys know some true figures ina day or two.

I have been to Amboli last April and it will take a minimum of 10hrs to reach there from Mumbai when you are riding in a group so you will hardly get any time to explore the place unless you are riding to just to have a night session.

I'm not posting because I don't see too many options here.Junta doesn't want to trek & visit a beach so those options are out.
Amboli is an excellent place but due to distance factor it is almost out(On second thoughts sharp by 4.00 in the morning then we can reach by 2.00-3.00p.m).
Saputara is out as suggested by DK.
That leaves only 2-3 options which are Panhala, Bhimashankar via longer route,Tryambakeshwar + Jawhar.

One thought from my side is that instead of choosing one destination we can select some excellent route. Ride with ample breaks and settle somewhere for the night.Next day take another route for coming back in a similar way as done on Day 1.

Agree with MG..Bhimashankar looks an good option !!!
