Guys, lets plan a Pune Mumbai G2G... its been long...we havent had a ride together... Lavassa was the last.... throw in some options... lets check out with folks .if its feasible for everyone..lets hit the roads.. how bout a Mumbai-Pune Monsoon G2G????

On 25-26th, sat-sun & we are making it an overnight trip, so it needs to be safe + fun, as rains will be in its full swing & its always dangerous IN n OUT of Mumbai that time...
Anyways we are open to anyone who wants to join IN...

Well spider dada... some of the members wanted a very adventurous ride.. wher sane people dont go.. that means only terrains like above mentioned..

Well anywez.. a few more names which are a bit moderate on off-roading and quite interesting...

1> Bhimashankar : 125km from Pune.

Places worth seeing: Bombay point, Hanuman Lake, Nagphani(like Duke's nose), Bheema river waterfall, Sanctuary.. Besides it's one of the 12 jyotirlinga of Shiva. Very high rainfall 3000mm annualy. Plenty of places to stay(Hotels/lodges) But this is a holy place so I doubt if u'll be confortable boozing and all.. But trust me.. a fantastic place to visit in monsoon

2> Akole: Very ancient Shri Siddheshwar Temple built in 8th century. Found in 1780.

3> Pemgiri: Banyan tree having spread in about 4 acres/1.5 hectors. Age of the tree??? A few centuries...

4> shivtharghal: Around 90kms from Pune. Big Waterfall in monsoon.

5> Shrivardhan-harihareshwar-Diveagar: All can be done in 2 days. No need to tell bout this place.

6> Rehekuri : Antelope sanctuary. But very heavy charges for camera-Rs.500/-

AWESOME place no doubt.
Buy I'll tell u this:

Mumbai - Mt.Abu: 845 kms.
took abt. 18 hrs. to reach

Mumbai - Hampi: 800 kms.
took almost 2o hrs. to reach.

Mumbai - Pachmari: 920 kms.
Will almost take a minimum of 20 hrs. Figures reachable only with accomplished riders who can do atleast 150-200 kms. at a stretch.
So forget about it + the roads are in so awesome condition, dat u wont stop praising the Madhya pradesh state transport

^^2 din mai 960 km not possible spidy + the rains. Not worth takin the risk, even if ur considering 3 days.

The roads are so excellent ahead of fountain. It fells tht there are wells in middle of the highway.
